3rd person p.o.v
The high warlock and young shadowhunters stepped through the portal, onto a runned down broke pier. Holes were forming in the wood where mold began eating at the soft fibers from it, scrap metal was scattered in various places all rusted and useless.
The smell was horrid, like sulfur dioxide mixed with the putrid smell of demons. It was definitely a place where the circle would hide from the Clave.
"Well isn't this lovely?" Destiny states crinkling her nose in disgust as she walked passed the severed head of a dead fish.
"Most villans usually have nice hideouts," Jace declares upon seeing the giant grey rundown building in front of them.
"My father doesn't have style," Clary notes as the rescue party marched toward the ugly building.
They all decided to split up so finding Jocelyn would be much easier, Alec was paired with Jace. Magnus with Izzy and Destiny with Clary. Together the two of them crept towards the back of the building where there was no guards.
"Well getting in will be simple," Destiny says readying her bow and nodding for Clary to enter. The red head was hesitant as first but with a new found courage to save her mother, she held her head high as she sauntered into the warehouse.
Old boxes littered the room, broken machines scattered the warehouse floor just waiting to be fixed and used again. Paint was fading from the walls as mold ate away at the jip rock making the walls gloomy and creepy. The two girls entered a room off the the left where two guards were standing by a door.
In the blink of an eye, arrows we're sticking out of their legs as Destiny went all ninga on them and they fell the floor with a roaring thud, she knocked them out with the handle of her seraph blade before opening the door behind them.
Inside looked like a bedroom, paintings plastered the walls, the room looked fresh and new. A bed sat in the very center, but there laying on the bed in some sort of magic cloud, was Jocelyn Fairchild.

Over on the other side of the warehouse, hell broke loose as Izzy, Jace, Alec and Magnus fought off the remaining circle members. Blades clashes with blades, arrows were flying around the room skillfully at their set target.
Magic glows filled the room, illuminating the pale faces of the shadowhunters, bodies falling like wildfires, some unconscious others angry at being knocked down.
In the corner of the room lurked Valintine himself, carefully watching his people fight for him. He was oblivious at the fact Jace saw where he was, and the blond had snuck away from the fight. He was standing directly behind the villans, waiting to attack.
Jace saw that Valintine was distracted as he crept up behind him. Without a second guess Jace plunged his seraph blade right through Valintine back. The villian grunted as dark crimson blood seeped out the wound as it went drip drip dripping onto the cold Stone floor.
The body crashed to the floor with a terrifying echo, the villain gasping for breath as the wound continued to ooze blood. It was a wound not even magic could heal, for one thing was certain. Valintine was about to be defeated once and for all.

The girls managed to lift up Jocelyn, then Destiny looked at Clary "Make a portal, take her back to the Institute. I'll go find the others," she told her now friend with a pleading look.
"Are you sure you got this?" Clary asks wanting to help in anyway she could even after they got her mom back.
" It's fine, help your mother," she says and Clary makes a portal. In the blink of the eye her friend was gone back to the institute, leaving the girl to find her family, hopefully still alive........
Ok so didn't kind of chapter in the way that it's written but I hope you like it, the following chapters won't really follow the books or tv show. But I've got interesting things planned for later on. Thanks for reading.
