Destiny's p.o.v

It's been a week since Maryse was de-runed and although everyone tried to not let it bother them, you could feel it in the air that she was gone.

Even though Maryse was harsh at times often doing what was right for the Clave, she was a great person and truely cared for her children. Upon defeating Valentine we also found out that Jace was actually a Herondale, the last one to be exact.

I was hoping him and Clary get married so he could continue his family's line of shadowhunters. Right now I was doing paperwork in the office, something that wasnt that great but had to be done.

Every mission Alec and I approve we had to record it down and note if it was successful or not. As I was finishing the last report I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"You work so hard, stress like that is bad for your health," Izzy says as I put my work away.

"But has to be done, let's go watch Clary train," I say standing up and we walked to the training area. Jace was sparring with Clary, she was doing really good but Jace is our best fighter.

"Destiny," a voice said as I turned to see Simon standing off the the side

"Hey Simon, how's the shadow world?" I asked as he pulled me into a hug.

"Man you are freezing," I state as we pulled out of the hug.

"yeah being dead will do that to you," he says with a laugh. I'm so glad he's doing better, Clary says he was a wreck when he first turned.

We continued to watch Clary get her ass kicked by Jace, "She gets distracted easily," Alec says as he came in the room, he wrapped his arms around my waist as he hugged me from behind. He placed his head on my shoulder and gave it alittle peck.

The fight ended with Clary on the ground, a training staff pointed at her chest "I win," Jace says as he helped Clary off the floor.

"To be fair you weren't really an even match," I state ruining Jace's victory.

"You think you could do better?" Jace asked trying to intimidate me.

"Oh please, we all know I can kick your ass any day, or did you forget the last time we fought," I sass causing Izzy and Alec to laugh.

"She's got you there Jace," Alec says earning a glare from his parabati.

Jace walked out of the training room in a huff, "someone's on their man period," I say earning laughs from everyone.

Hopefully Jace gets out of his mood because we needed to send him on a mission later. I hope he can fix our problem....
