My Angel (Alec Lightwood love story)

Chapter 2

Destiny's p.o.v

We walked into the kitchen and I sit at the breakfast bar while Alec gets the stuff he needs for our breakfast. We take turns making breakfast for eachother, it was something that we did even before we were married. I'm happy that after the marriage was finalized that we still kept our usual traditions and hobbies.

Soon Izzy comes in and makes what she wanted to make "Please don't poison the guy," I say as she's about to leave with her tray of food and Alec laughs before mixing the batter.

"I'm not going to poison him," Izzy exclaims looking at me whilst placing her hand above her heart and I smile.

"I'm only joking with you," I say winking at her as she leaves "I know," she says before turning the corner and disappeared down the hall.

Im waiting for our food to be done, but I was bored so I walked up to Alec and wrapped him in a hug from behind, I breathed in his scent and snuggled into him.

"Breakfast is almost done love," he says chuckling at my cuteness but I couldn't help it. He's like a big teddy bear.

"Ok," I say pulling away, before I go sit he turns around and kisses me on the lips, I kiss back then pull away smiling up at him. Once the food is done we both side beside each other at the table.

"So this Clary girl, I don't like her and I can't trust her," I say after taking a bite of my blueberry pancake.

Alec nods "I totally agree, like she showed up out of nowhere and she didn't even know she was a shadowhunter," he says looking at me,

"We have to keep an eye on her, she will get us in trouble with the Clave if we don't keep her in check," I say finishing up my food "And we will princesses," he says putting our plates in the sink.

After we finished eating we went back to our room, I laid down on the bed and Alec laid/sat beside me. My head was on his chest while he played with my hair, he turned the TV on and we began watching Harry Potter because it was on and I liked it.

Shadowhunters don't usually do things that mundanes do, but some times there isn't any demons to fight so we like to waste time by actually enjoying life.

Out of the blue Alec says "I love you Destiny," I didn't know what to do I have waited 3 years to hear him say that, I mean yes I love him and I did even before we got married.

I felt my face go red before looking up at him "I love you too Alec more then there are downworlders in the world," I say smiling at him.

He leans down and kisses me bringing my face up to meet his, I wrap my arms around his neck to deepen the kiss. After a few minutes we pull away and we just lay there snuggled together.

I wanted to stay here all day just cuddling with Alec but sadly like all good things it had to come to an end. "Guys we need your help with something," Jace says walking into our room with Izzy, Clary and Simon. Here we go again I thought before sitting up "This better be good,"Alec says glaring at Clary, this is going to be a long day....
