VALENTINE SAT WITH VJ IN THE SAND. the two were just basking in each others company now. they spent most of their hangout catching up on everything they'd done since the last time they saw each other in sixth grade. the sun beat down onto valentine's face and he leaned back on his hands, raising his head to face the sky and closing his eyes gently. "you really did grow up" vj said and valentine peeped out of one eye to see his old friend looking at him. vj's eyes darted all over val's face. as if he was trying to memorise every detail in case the montgomery boy vanished into thin air.
"so did you" valentine mumbled as his eyes slid down the boys body. "you're not as scrawny as you once were." a smirk played at the british boys lips and he looked up at vj's face again. the two locked eyes for a few seconds before they looked away, both blushing. valentine turned his head back up to the sun as he felt vj's fingers lace through his own under the grains of sand.
