VALENTINE FROWNED DOWN AT HIS phone as the montgomery brother's drove to work. dacre cast his eyes to the side quickly when he sensed that something was wrong with valentine. "what happened?" he asked and valentine looked up from his phone and out the windsheild. "you know how finn didn't call or text me or ask to meet up in the past month of break?" valentine asked his brother, turning to look at the older male as he nodded his head. "well i asked him about it and he said that he didn't want to see me. i thought he was joking but then he kept repeating it and he seemed so serious." dacre could hear the hurt in his younger brother's voice as he spoke.
"i'm sorry val. maybe he's just going through some stuff" dacre said, although he knew exactly why finn had chosen not to hang out with valentine. dacre had been then one to comfort finn after he'd seen valentine and vj kiss. the younger boy had confessed his feelings for valentine to dacre and it hurt the older man to see such a young boy so fucked over by his emotions. "but that's the thing. he hung out with everyone else but me" valentine said, forcing the tears back down. "if he was going through something he probably wouldn't have hung out with all the others bar me." dacre bit his lip. he knew that he shouldn't tell valentine the reason, even if his little brother was so hurt by finn's actions.
"look bud. i'm sure as soon as he sees you on set, everything will be back to normal" dacre said, despite the fact that he knew it wouldn't happen.
