Niall’s POV

This couldn’t be happening. It just couldn’t. I pressed harder on the gas pedal making the car go 30 over the speed limit.

“It’s alright” Harry said patting me on the shoulder. “When we get there everything will be fine. Don’t worry”.

“Yeah, nothing bad” I said as we pulled into the parking lot and ran out of the car.

We got to the front of the building and pushed our way inside. We both ran up to the front desk.

“Were here to see our friends” I said to the receptionist.

“Names and condition please” she was filing some papers and didn’t even look up from the desk when she was speaking to us.

“Genevieve MacKenzie, Maddie MacLean, and we believe a car accident”.

Her head shot up from the desk “Oh the two girls that were just brought in. You better go have a look at them” she got up from her desk and walked down the hall. She ushered for us to follow her and then walked into the emergency room. “They are right there in the corner. Looks like one is waking up”.

“Maddie!” Harry said rushing over to her side.

She looked over at Harry and me with a look of confusion on her face.

“Who are you?” she asked sitting herself up. “Why am I here? I'm scared”.

“Don’t worry were here now, no need to be afraid” said Harry grabbing her hand and bringing it up to his lips.

“You two! What are you doing in here? Who gave you permission to come in” said a very angry doctor walking up to us. “You can see your girlfriends when we are finished assessing them”.

He grabbed our shoulders and pulled us out of the room. The last thing I saw before the door shut closed was Genevieve in a bed across from Maddie, an IV in her arm. She has a big gash in her left arm and a large cut on her shoulder. She was knocked unconscious and looked like she was barely breathing.
