Remembering.

Chapter 15

Maddie's POV

I left the restaurant in a hurry, grabbing my purse and getting out of there as fast as I could. Not only was I massively confused about what I felt for both Harry and Liam. But I also had only regained bits and pieces of my memory. What I was certain though. Was Liam was in fact my boyfriend. And not only did Harry lie, he did a mighty good job with it. I walked down the street and hailed a cab. I couldn't remember my street name or house number so I thought it would be best to go directly to the hospital and talk to Niall. When I arrived I wasn't surprised to see him sitting in the cafeteria eating a burger by himself.

"May I join you?" I asked sitting down across from him.

"Maddie! What are you doing here? Is Harry with you?" He said looking worried. "No, I came by myself. I need to get some answers".

"Answers? What do you mean? Didn't Harry tell you everything you wanted to know?"

"Not exactly" I replied letting out a large sigh.

After explaining everything that happened to Niall, he looked furious, red hot and about to blow a gasket.

"He did what?!" Niall said jumping up from the table and starting to storm out of the room.

"Niall wait" I said grabbing his arm "Before you go and smash his face in. I would like to know why he did it. I don't remember anything from right before the accident. Did he say something? Or did I?"

"Harry has a massive crush on you. If it weren't for Liam he would have asked you out right when he first met you. I guess this was his chance. A way to make his move. But that doesn't give him any reason to do what he did. He's going to be in deep shit when I'm done with him".

"Mr Horan" said a nurse walking into the cafeteria. "Your friend Genevieve has woken up, she's in a lot of pain and needs someone there"

"She's awake?" Said Niall jumping from his chair and sprinting from the room.

I went to go and follow him when the nurse stopped me.

"And your name?"

"Maddie Maclean, I'm her cousin. I need to see her"

"Sorry, your names not on the list. You will need to wait here, you can see her once you have been through security and she is out of extensive care".

"You don't understand" I yelled getting frustrated. "I need to see her"

"And once procedures are completed you can"

"You're a real bitch you know" I replied sitting back down on the chair, too weak and tired from all that happened tonight to fight back
