Maddie’s POV

We had made our way back to Genevieve's hospital room. She was back in bed and instantly fell asleep. Niall was beside her holding her tight and I was sitting on the end of the bed. Neither Niall nor I had said a word since we were shooed back to the room. I decided to break the silence

"How long do you think it will take for her to be back to her original weight and strength?"

"The doctors said just a few weeks and she should be back to her normal self. But its you I'm worried about. How's your memory coming along?"

"Bits and pieces here and there. For the most part I'm pretty much here" I replied shifting uncomfortably on the bed. I really didn't know what I was going to do with Harry or Liam. Although my memory was almost back and all my feelings for Liam too. In the last few weeks I had fallen for Harry. And pretty hard too. Liam although sweet and amazing, had no excitement. I loved our movie nights and when we went out to dinner. He was the sweetest person I knew, but with Harry everything was new and being with him felt like fireworks. I felt a rush of feelings every time I was around him, and something about him was just so magical. I was torn.

"I think I'm going to try and get some sleep" I said getting off the bed and grabbing my purse. "I don't know the address of my flat, could you give it to me?"

"No problem" Niall said writing down a street name and a number with his chicken scratch writing. "Call me as soon as you get in, okay? Hopefully Genevieve will be able to come home soon, and I'm pretty sure she will want to crash at your flat instead of being alone"

"Yeah yeah Niall. You're starting to sound like Liam" I choked at the words that came out of my mouth. Just his name and the butterflies in my tummy were back. Maybe my feelings for him were stronger than I thought after all.

"And Maddie" Niall said as I was almost at the door. "Watch out for those two boys, one of them is going to do something very stupid and very soon, you can take my word on that".

I typed the street name into my phone and realized it wasn't that far away. I decided to walk considering it was a beautiful June evening, cold enough for a light jacket, but enough warmth to make you want to be outside.

I followed the GPS to the street but then remembered that I forgot to put in the flat number. I pulled out Niall's paper and stared blankly. I could not make out what the number was. His writing was worse than Genevieve's, and that's saying something.

*what house number is it?* I texted Niall, hoping he wasn't asleep.

I had just enough time to hit send before the screen went black.

'What the fuck?' I thought 'I charged you this morning, you had full battery!'

Now I was stranded with no phone and no idea where my house was. This should be great.

I looked up and surveyed the busy London street. It was only 9 at Night but the sky was pitch black and stores were starting to close. All down the street were little stores. Filled with knickknacks, and yoga studios, and even a few wedding dress shops. I walked for a bit and came to a quiet cafe. It was a stone building, with the name of the cafe 'Life is a Cup of Cake' hand painted on a large sign. On one side it had a bakery counter and a small amount of chairs, and on the other side there was a used book store.

'This is really cute' I thought to myself walking in and sitting down.

"Can I get you anything to eat?" Said a waitress about the same age as me.

"May I have one of your chocolate cupcakes and large hot chocolate please?" I asked the girl giving her a big smile.

"No problem" said the waitress turning around and heading for the kitchen.

"So you're a chocolate kind of girl" I heard from a familiar voice behind me.

I knew who the voice belonged too, and I dreaded turning around
