Damn, damn, damn! How am I supposed to run away from a guy 10 feet taller than me... holding a freaking gun.
He slowly walked up. Towards me.
I tried backing out. But of course I was at at a dead end, so that didn't really help.
"Umm... s-sir. If you w-want some money, I have s-some right here," I nervously said.
He chuckled. "Who says I want money? What I want, is your life."
What the mess? This guy's crazy.
"Why? What have I ever done to you?!" I said, with a louder tone that I had expected.
"Ahh, you've done nothing wrong, darling. I just kill teenage girls as a.. hobby," he grinned.
This guy is a fucking psycho.
No, no, no. I can't die yet. I have to see my friends. I have to go to Brandon's house. I still have to get married. I still have to have family!
Suddenly, he dashed to my side, and cupped his left hand over my mouth.
"Make one sound," he put the gun to the side of my head. "And you're dead," he finished.
He pulled my hands to the back, and tied them with rope. He put a white cloth over my mouth, tightly. It hurt.
"Come on," he dragged me by force.
We were halfway out of the neighborhood, and something--no, someone stopped him.
Kevin...? Kevin Fitzberg, the guy I was talking to this morning. What is he doing here?
"Let the girl go," Kevin said. He was dead serious. I can feel that something bad was going to happen.
"Ah, why would I do that? She looks delicious. I'll just mess with her a bit, and finish her off with my gun. No worries. It's really quick and easy," the man whispered with his husky voice.
"I said to let her go. Don't make me say it a third time," replied Kevin.
Kevin didn't look scared whatsoever. He looked... confident that he can save me.
But why? Why would Kevin risk his life for me?
Without another word, Kevin jumped towards the man in black and kicked the gun out of his hands.
Kevin grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, pulled the man towards him, let's go, then grabbed the man's left arm.
Kevin twisted the man's arm, and I could hear a crack.
The man yelped in pain.
"LET GO! LET GO, BRAT!" the man yelled to Kevin.
Kevin grabbed the gun that was on the ground and shot the man's right leg.
The man screamed even louder this time, and fell unconscious.
"Here," Kevin said as he undo the rope and the cloth that was covering my mouth.
"Call 911," he said as he tossed me his phone.
"Okay," I replied. I was still shaking. What's happening? Why is Kevin helping me? What if he planned this with that man? What if-
Kevin stared at me as though he could read my thoughts.
"If you're worrying that I'm with him, then don't. Trust me. I'm not that type of person," Kevin said. And I somewhat... do trust him.
I don't know what makes me believe him. Probably the way that he looked at me with those eyes. He was definitely telling the truth.
"Thank you, Kevin. I don't know what would have happen if you weren't here," I said. I felt tears streaming down my cheeks. Shoot, I was crying.
He kneeled down and hugged me. His hug was very... warm.
"It's okay. It's over now. I won't let him come near you again," he whispered.

The police came 10 minutes later, handcuffing the man.
The police told us that they have been trying to catch this man for months. He's killed 9 teenage girls, and 4 teenage boys these past 5 months.
How horrible! What kind of animal is he?
The police told us not to worry anymore, and they'll take it from here.
Kevin turned to face me, and said, "Let me drive you home."
Should I go home? Or should I go to Brandon's? I'm too scared to be excited for anything, but I did promise to help Brandon. Plus, Yasming's still waiting for me over there with Christian.
"Can you take me to Brandon's? We had to do this assignment, and he needed help. So we planned it at 8:30. But I'm just a little late," I tried to smile.
Nope. I can't even smile.
Kevin didn't look like he liked the idea, "The police is calling your family. I think your mom and dad would rather you come home for the night. Come on, I'll take you home."
"Okay, thanks, Kevin."
I texted Yasming, Serena, Brandon, and Christian about what happened. I didn't want for Brandon, Yasming, and Christian to wait for me and get worry. And I just had to tell Serena. I don't like keeping things as serious as these to myself.
Before I knew it, I fell asleep in Kevin's car.
