What? Brandon broke up with his girlfriend...?
Surprisingly, I'm not that excited that Brandon is single now. But why? I've always wanted them to break up... But I'm not even excited right now.
What is this?! Why am I being so weird? I'm supposed to be happy.. Right? What's going on with me?!?
"Amy, are you okay?" asked Kevin as he lightly touched my arm.
"Oh, yeah. I'm fine," I replied with a light smile.
But why do I feel so nervous around Kevin?!? Ugh, please don't tell me that I like him... Yep, I probably do, don't I?! Oh my goodness.
Serena asked, "But why did you break up with her? Or did she break up with you?"
"I broke up with her.. It just wasn't working out anymore. Her mind is always some place else whenever we are together. She doesn't even seem to like me anymore," Brandon said, looking down at his shoes.
He seems devastated.
I pat him on the back lightly.
"It's okay, Brandon. There's always other people. She's not the last person on earth," I smiled.
He sighed. "Thanks, Amy."
"How about we hang out later today? My house," said Christian.
We all nodded in agreement.
"Sure, why not? It is Friday anyways," I said.
"Missy, we have some training to do today. We promised your mom," said Kevin as he stared at me.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot. If I don't start learning some moves soon, Mom would be so mad...
"Ugh, you're right. Sorry guys. Looks like Kevin and I will not be going tonight," I looked back at them apologetically.
"It's fine. Have fun, Amy," Serena winked.
"Have a good time ya'll," smirked Yasming.
"Oh my god, shut up guys!" I yelled.
--------------------------------------------
YES! Finally home. Ugh, what a day at school. TOO many exams. It's always the same schedule. Tests. Homework. Exams. Quizzes."I'm sick of it all!" I yelled aloud.
"Sick of what?" Kevin strolled into the living room.
I gasped. He really surprised me there.
"Life. I'm sick of LIFE, Kevin," I said.
"There's no time to be complaining about your life. Come on, let's go to your backyard where we have more space," he said.
We walked out to the backyard, and he started giving me some basic tips and advices.
"If you encounter someone suspicious, always scream for help first," he said.
"But if you're alone with the attacker, then screaming would be useless. Running away would be the first thing to do when you guys are alone," he continued.
"Of course, the attacker might have a weapon of some sort. If he was carrying a gun, then your chance of getting away by running is pretty low."
"This is where some self defense moves come in. The first thing you would do, is
kick him in the place that the sun doesn't shine in. Hard.""If that doesn't stop him, then try to make him drop is weapon, whatever it may be," Kevin walked up to me and demonstrated.
He asked me to hold my arm out. He grabbed my wrist with one hand and twisted it upwards.
"Damn it, Kevin. That hurts!" I yelled in surprise.
"Duh, stupid. It's supposed to hurt. But that wasn't even my hardest twist," he replied.
"You have to make sure you twist his wrist hard enough to make him drop the weapon. It has to be quick too, or else he might use the weapon before you can even hurt him."
"If he somehow grabs you from the back, catch a hold of his arm, give it a hard twist, and throw him upward in front of you. Let me demonstrate," said Kevin.
"Uh-uh. No way you're doing that with me," I replied. Is he crazy??!?
"Don't worry. I invited Olive over to be the model," he smiled.
The doorbell rang. That must be him then.
"Hey guys! I'm here! Sorry for being late!" Said Olive as soon as I opened the door.
"I'm here too!" Said Serena as she give Olive a quick kiss on the lips.
"Gross," I made an icky face.
"Shut up, Amy!" She laughed.
"Alright, are ya'll ready?" Kevin asked.
"Yup, we're ready," I smiled.
Let's get this going.
