Ringggg! Ringgggg! Ringggg!
Ugh. Stupid alarm. What the heck?
I turned to my right to look at my digital clock.
"3:30? I must have set it wrong on accident," I mumbled.
Great. There goes my beauty sleep.
I felt something crawl on my hand.
Oh shoot. I don't like creepy crawlers at all. I abhor any bugs, insects, and arachnids whatsoever!
I slowly glanced down on my right arm, where the tickling was.
Ah. Great. There was a fucking tarantula on my arm. Not just a normal beast, but the worst one of them all! I hate spiders, especially huge ones like these.
I really don't want to wake my parents, but I screamed.
"Ahhhh!!! Get this beast off me!" I shouted.
All of sudden, the door busted open.
The lights were turned on, and Kevin was standing there.
He rushed over to me.
"Amy! What's wrong? Did someone break in here?" he anxiously asked.
He looked really worried.
"Oh no, it's worse. There's a tarantula on my arm!" I yelled.
He was silent for a moment.
Then there's the laugh. Man, he looks so cute even in pjs.
"Here," he said as he scooped the spider of off my arm.
"You're scared of bugs, huh?" he asked, smiling.
"Don't you dare find this amusing! I'm not scared at all. I was just... surprised," I lied.
He chuckled. Gosh, he looks gorgeous.
He patted my head. Shoot. My heart's racing like crazy again.
"I'll be back after letting it go outside, okay? I promise. It won't come in again," he smiled.
Why does he have to smile so much? I really don't like this stupid feeling in my stomach.
"Okay," I muttered under my breath.
Kevin was back after a little bit.
"Done," he said.
"So, do you have any fears?" I asked.
"Hmmm, I do. But why would I tell you? What if you used my fear against me?" he winked.
"Whatever. I'm not like that. I don't use people's weaknesses against them. Well, except when I don't like them of course, " I laughed. "And I certainly wouldn't do it to someone as charming and sexy as you, Kevin," I said.
Damn it. I did it again. I should really think before I say stuff. I'm so stupid for a smart person.
Trying to correct what came out of my mouth, I stumbled, "I didn't mean that.. I-I was just s-saying t-that..,"
He was laughing so hard by now.
"Amy, you're so adorable. You don't hide your feelings and thought well, huh? You remind me of Gracie," he said.
"Gracie? Who's that?" I asked.
"My ex-girlfriend," he replied.
My jaw dropped.
"What?" he asked, surprised. "Why are you giving me that look?" he chuckled.
"Oh, nothing. I'm just being weird," I blushed.
I reminded Kevin of his ex?
This is way too awkward.
"Well, I'll go back to my room now," Kevin said. "See ya tomorrow."
"No, stay here with me," I said.
His eyes widened. "Wait what?" he said.
"No, I don't mean anything weird. I meant that we should watch a movie or something. I don't feel like going back to sleep," I shrugged. I meant it though. I feel like watching one of those scary movies.
To my surprise, he said, "Sure."
Ugh. He smiled again.
He went over to my bed, and sat down beside me.
"What are we watching?" he asked.
"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," I smirked.
"Wow, I didn't know you liked that kind of stuff," he smirked back.
"I love it! All the killing, blood, violence, and gore. Ugh, it's my favorite!" I winked.
He chuckled again.
"You laugh way too much," I laughed back.
"Hypocrite. So do you," he grinned.
"Am not!" I replied and lightly punched him on the arm.
"Okay, let's watch it now. I'm so excited!" I said as I turned on the TV.
"Me too," he smiled.
