" He is very fetching for somebody who lives on skid road." Veronica tells Betty as she looks down at Betty's phone which had a picture of Chic.
" Yeah, he's a hottie that looks very familiar to me, by the way." Kevin says as he takes Betty's phone from Veronica, and looks down at the picture one more time.

" Your adventures in the woods?" Jughead asks the boy as he shrugs.
" Maybe, if we are allowed to meet this hottie in person." Kevin says causing Victoria to giggle under her breathe as I smile at Kevin.

" Chic is still acclimating, and I'm still trying to get him to trust me; But my mom is treating him like he's ten, and my dad's acting like he's the devils spawn." Betty tells her friends as I frown at the thought of his father being so unloving towards his son...

" Didn't Danny get to meet him?" Kevin asks when looking over at me a bit jealous as I put my hands up in surrender.
" Well that's because she helped me help him that night; and he's already growing a liking of her." Betty says smirking my way as I shake my head and roll my eyes playfully.

" That's totally unfair." Kevin says looking over at now a annoyed Betty.

" Well I have an amazing idea! Bring the omen to Pickins day and we can all meet him; Everyone's coming right." Veronica tells her best friend and asks all of us.

"No because the Serpents weren't invited." Jughead tells Veronica, causing me to sigh at the thought.
"The Serpents were specifically ask to come." Veronica snaps at Jughead at his false statement.
" Yeah, to provide security. It's like we're on a snow piercer train but the Serpents happen to be eating the cockroaches." Jughead tells Veronica as Betty gives Kevin a look of annoyance towards Jughead, making me sigh once again from the drama infested waters that I was currently swimming in.

" And you don't have to work, if you don't want too." Veronica tells us as I turn to see Toni looking over at our group, causing me to give her a wave. As she waves back I couldn't help but notice Jughead has caught eye of Toni and starts to pick up his backpack.
" The damage they say, has already been done." Jughead tells Veronica as he gets up.

" I'll talk to you guys later." Jughead says, as Betty gives a look towards Toni and back at Jughead.
"Plans with Toni?" She asks Jughead clearly interested or wondering of them both.
" Uh, yeah. I'm interviewing her Grandfather for my oral history report; oldest living Serpent." Jughead explains as he then walks off causing Betty to become rather sad.

As I was getting the last of my things from my locker, I felt a strong tap on my shoulder. As I turn to see who, I noticed it was Sweet Pea. Sweets wasn't in his usual school turtle neck attire, but mostly in sports wear.
" Oh hey, Sweets." I say as I held my textbook close to my chest as butterflies began to flutter.
" Hey, I just wanted to ask you something before I headed to tryouts." He tells me as I my eyes widen at the thought of him taking apart of a sport.
" You are in a sport?" I ask as he nods and shrugs.
" Just basketball." He says as if it were nothing.

But to me it wasn't nothing. I was actually very proud, and glad to see he was finally taking apart of something, and using his height for something besides scaring off some northsiders. I knew back then he wouldn't have anything to do when he got home, so he would be bored and sleep all day.So when hearing this, I couldn't help but smile.

" That's amazing Sweet pea.— So what did you want to talk about?" I ask as I tilt my head as I smiled up at the giant.
" I wanted to know if you would like to talk things out? Maybe at Pop's or something?" He asks as I immediately nod.
" Sure, I'm free whenever." I tell him.
" Okay, pick you up around five?" He asks.
" Yeah, perfect." I say rocking back and fourth on my toes and staring into his brown eyes that made my world stop, but my heart flutter like crazy...

I watch him smile down at me with his pearly whites making me almost immediately get goosebumps.
" Awesome." He says as I heard whistling and hollering from some of the boys down the hall to tell Sweet Pea to hurry his butt up.

" I gotta go now, I'll see you." He says walking backwards slowly over towards the boys, still waiting for a final response from me.
" I'll see you around, good luck at tryouts green giant." I joke as he rolls his eyes playfully at me before smiling as he runs off to his soon to be team mates.

As I close my locker and sling my backpack on, I watch Sweets teammates from a far,  playfully pushing him around towards the gym.

I had the biggest smile as I walked off, and it wouldn't fall until I feel asleep that night....
