🔸Chapter 35 - Boredom?🔸

**Jace's pov**

It's boring without having Jamie around everyday. According to my mum I've been moping around the house all day and that I always seem grumpy.

Alicia always brings a smile to my face though, but that's just because she's so lovable and happy that it becomes infectious. Speaking of she's slept in my bed the last two nights since Jamie left.

"Morning daddy."

"Good morning angel." I reply leaning down to kiss her forehead.

"Do you miss mommy?" She asks, snuggling up to my side.

"Yeah of course I do! Do you miss her?"

"I miss her a lot. I wish she could come back quicker, but grandma said she'll be gone for a little while." She says quietly.

"It's fine cause I'm still here."

"Your not going to leave me, as well are you?"

"No baby! I'm not going to leave you and Jamie hasn't left you either, we love you very much and I bet she misses you just as much as you miss her." I say, whilst leaning over and tickling her side.

She squirms about, squealing and giggling and when I stop she gasps slightly for air, before whispering a breathless "I love you too daddy." And then she kisses my cheek slightly, then cuddles back up to me.

A few hours later, me and Alicia had just finished watching the princess and the frog movie, when my mum called us downstairs.

"Hello you two, I never thought you'd get out of bed." She says, kissing mine and Alicia's heads.

"Yeah sorry. We were watching a movie." I apologise as we sit down at the table.

"Yeah grama we watched princess and the frog!"

Alicia launched into explaining the movie to my mum, whilst we sat and ate out pancakes. When we all finished eating, my little angel was covered in syrup and chocolate spread and so I had to take her upstairs for a bath.

By the time Alicia was all cleaned up and dressed it was around 1pm and so I put on another movie for her. Half way through the movie, my mum asked me to step into the hall for a minute.

"I have a surprise for you two." She says, as soon as we're out of the living room.

"What is it?"

"So as you know you and Alicia have been moping around, ever since Jamie left for England and so I decided why not just go to her." She laughs.

"Are you saying what I think your saying?"

"I know you wouldn't want to leave your little girl and so I messaged Jamie's mum, who says it's a great idea and so you and Alicia are flying out to England in 2 days."

I take two steps forward and pull my mum into a tight hug, saying 'thank you' over and over again.

"This is amazing!" I say kissing her cheek and letting her go. "I love you so much and your the best mom ever! Angels going to be so happy!"

"Well, what are you waiting for go tell my grand baby and get packing!" She chuckles patting my shoulder. "And I love you too."

I speed walk back into the room, where my angel sits still watching her movie. I pick her up as I sit down and place her on my lap.

"Guess what grandma did." I whisper.

"What?"

"She bought us tickets to go and see Jamie!"

"Really! I can't wait!" She giggles bouncing up and down.
