**Jamie's POV**
"JAMIE GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED!" Someone yelled into my room scaring me out of dreamland and my bed, leaving me face down on my bedroom floor, in a very ladylike fashion.
"Good morning to you too." I grumble, annoyed that my beauty sleep was interrupted, as I stumble to my feet and meeting my mothers gaze as she stands in my doorway.
"Stop with the mumbling and get ready, we're leaving in an hour." She states, leaving my room, dramatically closing my door.
I make my way over to my wardrobe and quickly change into a pair of comfy leggings and a jumper, before throwing my hair up into a ponytail. I look around my bedroom one final time, silently wishing it a goodbye and remembering all the good times that had occurred here.
Sighing, I pick up my last box of things and leave the room, unprepared to start my new life in America.

My family and I arrive in the airport two hours before we have to board our flight, giving us more than enough time to have a cup of tea from the airports costa and browse the gift shop with my sister, Sam, trying out all of the testers that were available to us. Soon enough our flight is called and we board with all the other passengers that push and shove eager to get to their destination.

After a seemingly never ending flight, filled with snoring adults and screaming babies, we finally landed in America. I dragged a sleepy Sammy off the plane, following my parents as they manoeuvred through the crowds towards the baggage area, only to see our luggage drift past us, meaning we'd have to wait until they came by again, well that would have been the case if Sammy hadn't gripped my arm and chased after them.
"Come on then let's go grab them and go home!" Sam yelled. Right home.
Not long after catching our bags, we left the airport and hailed a cab, due to our car not being scheduled to arrive until sometime next week, which took us to a large brick house, surrounded by others just like it.
Sam sprinted up the short driveway her blonde hair flying out behind her, large blue eyes sparkling with excitement. Reminding me of an old picture I had once found in the attic of my mother, when she had been around Sammy's age.
"Jamie! We have a pool!" She shouts, over her shoulder as she opens the gate to our garden, curious eyes scanning the area. I walk towards her obviously less excited and ruffle her hair also taking a peak at the garden. "Will you come for a swim with me? Please?"
Not even an hour later, I'm trying to defend from the on coming splashes being aimed at me. When I notice a diving board leaning against the side of the house and the area at the side of the pool dedicated to it. Momentarily forgetting the mini tsunamis being sent my way, I call out for my dad and hurl myself out of the pool, ignoring the whine Sam let's out. After a quick search, we find all the things needed to reattach the board to the pool side and soon Sammy's scrambling out of the pool eager to have a go.
The two of us begin a mini competition to see who can pull off the best dive or greatest splash, before it turns into less of a competition and more of a way to show off to my little sister, as all older siblings will understand. Leading to me attempting to do a higher bounce than normal causing me to be flung outwards into the pool and somehow causing me to do a full front flip onto the water.
When I resurfaced, I heard the distinct sound out clapping and climbed out of the pool, mock curtsying towards Sammy, as she giggle at me from behind her hand, before raising it and waving at someone over behind my back.
Spinning around, I see a boy around my age stood leaning his elbows on the fence, separating our new house from the one next door, smirking at us with his brown eyes distinctly expressing his amusement as he raised a hand and waved back at my sister, his black t-shirt gripping his bicep accentuating the muscle.
"Hi, I'm Jace and I assume your the new neighbours." He smiles, tanned skin scrunching up beneath his eyes in an adorably, attractive way.
Shit.
**Jace's POV**
All week moving vans had littered the street, making it hard to get any peace and quiet, as large men lugged heavy looking boxes up into the house next door. After, five hours of the organised mayhem going on outside, I decided I needed to get out of the house. Just before I left the however, I heard little feet running along the tiled floor of the kitchen. Smiling to myself, I turned around just in time to scoop my little angel, Alicia, up into my arms.
"Dada?"
"Hey baby girl!" I smiled, setting her on my hip. "What's up?"
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"I was gonna go for a walk, do you want to come?"
"Yes, please!"
****
When we got back, I ushered Alicia into the house to go say hi to her grandma, when I heard a splash coming from next door and decided I should probably introduce myself to the new neighbours. So I walked into my through the gate into my backyard, leaning up against our connecting fences, just in time to see a blonde girl flip into the pool, whilst a young girl stood behind her watching in in amazement.
I went unnoticed by the two at first, until the younger one waved at me, a sweet smile lighting up her face, causing the older of the two to turn around, green eyes wide with shock and pink lips parted.
"Hi I'm Jace and I assume your the new neighbours." I grin.
"Nice to meet you Jace, I'm Jamie and this is my little sister Sammy."
