🔸Chapter 29 - Family day out... and a few extras🔸

**Jamie's pov**

Today is Wednesday and it's still the school holidays. Sadly we only got a week off meaning that we have 4 days left.

So my parents decided that today we were going to be having a family day out. Well it started as a family day out anyway.

We were all sat in the kitchen all ready to go, when suddenly someone began pounding on our door. Sighing my dad stood up, mumbling to himself as he walked out of the room.

"Hallo, Mister Heart. You certainly do look dashing this fine morning."

"Good morning boys." I heard my dad groan. "Jamie your... friends are here."

Standing up from where I was sat and walked out to see my dad standing by the door, whilst Tio flirted with him. Just as I came to stand in front of the door, he gave my dad a seductive wink - well that seemed to be his aim - but it looked more like an eye twitch.

"You can go now dad." I smiled at him, he gave me a quick kiss on the head and whispered a small 'thank you' before disappearing into the kitchen. Turning back to the 5 guys stood on my doorstep, I asked curiously. "What are you doing here?"

"We wanted to spend the day with you. Go to the skate park maybe." Tommy said.

"Guys I'm sorry but I'm spending time with my family today." I replied.

"Aww shame."

"Wait! There is a twist to this plot! Jace here is your boyfriend and future husband, so that makes him family," I turned a pink colour. "And we are practically his brothers, so that means we are your brother in-laws and so we are family!" Tio exclaimed proudly.

"He does have a point." Cameron added in.

"You try explaining that to my dad." I laughed.

"If he says no we will just follow your car until he says yes," Tio says, with a straight face. "And if that doesn't work I'll flirt with him everyday."

"Fine, but I never agreed to this."

So now it's a family day out with 4 of my friends and my boyfriend. Well that's how it seemed, for 5 minuets.

Just as my mum finished making extra sandwiches for the guys, there was another loud banging on the door. Sighing my dad got up again and left the room.

"Oh, hello Linda and Alicia."

"Hi Jace messaged me and said you were all going out and I wondered if you wouldn't mind some extra company?" Instantly I knew my dad wouldn't refuse, especially with Alicia involved.

"Umm, yeah sure. The more the merrier. I umm, guess."

"Your too kind."

"Sadly." I heard my dad mutter as he entered the kitchen with Alicia in his arms, holding onto his neck and beaming at all of us, as if to say I'm taller than you. She was quite disappointed when Jace came over - who's a good foot taller than my dad - but smiled again when he took her from my dad.

After my mum made another two sandwiches, it was already around half past 2 in the afternoon. And so with us all being hungry, we all ate the food that was packed for our picnic. And by the time we all finished and cleaned up it was 3. So my dad said screw it all, and now here we are with popcorn and watching 'despicable me'.

Linda is sat on the couch with Alicia on her knee, my parents are also on the couch my mum with my dads arm around her, Cameron, the twins and Chase are all sat on pillows on the floor, Sam and Xavier are on the smaller two seater couch we own, - having a popcorn fight with Chase - whilst me and Jace are sat in the reclining chair, snuggled closely together whilst laying back.

We were hardly paying attention to the movie, sharing quick kisses and giggling when Xavier or my dad glared at Jace.

"I was wondering," Jace whispered - just as Gru won the unicorn teddy - "if you'd like to go on a date with me?"

I instantly turned my attention from the screen and smiled up at my boyfriend. "I'd love to." I said, cupping his cheeks and giving him a quick peck on the lips.

"Great."

"Oi! Jace what are you and my sister doing?" Xavier asks from across the room, catching everyone's attention. They all turn to look at us, the guys and Sam making kissy faces at us, Linda and my mum began 'aww'ing at us, my dad and brother seemed to glare at Jace again and Alicia did not move her eyes from the screen once.

Embarrassed, I hid my face in the crook of Jace's neck. "I was just asking her out. Again. And reviving my yes in kisses." Was his reply and I could feel his laughter begin to rumble from his chest. Smiling to myself as I heard my brother groan about 'too much information', I placed a little kiss on the base of Jace's neck, causing him to shiver slightly and wrap his arms tighter around me.

"Love you." He whispered.

"Love you more." I replied, yawning before slowly drifting off to sleep.

The next time I woke up it was around 9 o'clock and everyone had just began leaving. Minus Jace.

"Bye Jace. Don't be a bother."

"I won't mum. Love ya."

"Love you too, ya big sapp."

And then I heard the door close and the sound of it locking, before the sound of footsteps echoed up the stairs.

"Are you not going?" I asked, slowly sitting up on Jace's lap and rubbing my eyes sleepily.

"Hello beautiful." He said, kissing the side of my head. "And no. Your folks said I could stay the night and so I am. My mum offered to watch Alicia. Your family's gone to bed and the guys left about 2 hours ago."

"Ok." I yawned, laying back down in his chest.

"Come on sugarplum. Let's go to bed." He chuckled.

"Carry me." I ordered.

"Fine."

And he did, he carried me in the style of a piggyback, - but on his front - with my arms around his neck, my legs around his waist and my head back in the crook of his neck. He carried me all the way up to my room, where he placed me on my bed and pulled off my shoes and socks, before stripping down to his boxers and climbing in next to me, wrapping his arms tightly around my belly and tangling our legs together.

"Love you."

"Love you too baby."
