**Jamie's pov**

Today is the day that my parents, siblings and I, travel back to England for my granddads birthday. It'll be strange to travel back and it's a very long flight, but I'll manage. I've done it once, I can do it again.

When I woke up this morning, I was alone. Jace was watching Alicia last night and promised to send me off at the time of my flight. Currently I'm sat in my bed, listening to my music on shuffle, I'm not really paying attention however because I'm too busy wondering what my family will think when they see us again.

It's been quite awhile since we last saw them all and I haven't really spoken to them either. It will be strange to say the least, as I've got used to living in a big town now, but I will admit I miss my old village.

You see before we moved here, my family and I lived in a small 4 bedroomed semi-detached house on top of a hill, in a small village named Clayton. The rest of my family practically lived on our door step, with my nanna up the road, my grandma and grandad a street away and my aunties and uncles were scattered around the rest of the area.

My uncle Harry used to work at the local butchers, - that my grandad owned - with his wife Lisa, I'm pretty sure his eldest son will take over the business when he retires.

My Aunty Margaret worked at the local bakery, with her daughter Shelly and her sister Gabriella. My nanna would sometimes help out, but she had bad knees and so it hurts her to stand for too long.

So yeah, we were always close together with the primary school down the road and the secondary school a half-an-hours drive away, in the village over.

"Jamie! Time to go!" I'm snapped out of my day dream, by my mum opening the door. "Come on love, your not even dressed. I'll give you five minutes."

"Alright Mum." And then she was gone.

I climbed out of bed quickly and threw on the clothes that I had left out for my self the night before, a pair of grey, adidas sweatpants and a superdry t-shirt, with a hoodie. It's not as warm in England, you see.

Finally, prepared I headed down stairs - with my already packed suit case - with my head phones and phone in hand.

"Let's get this show on the road."

We arrived at the airport in Manchester, around 4 in the afternoon. Once we had collected our baggage, we headed out into the main part of the airport where my uncle Harry and Aunty Lisa were waiting for us.

"Uncle Harry! Aunty Lisa!" We all sped towards the two and practically jumped on them. "We missed you."

"And we missed you, lovely's." Replies Lisa.

After our small gathering in the airport, we headed back to Clayton - where we will be staying in my uncles house - and after an hour and a half, we were back in our village.

"It hasn't changed a bit." I smile, looking out the window of uncle Harry's beat up mini-van.

"Well what did you expect?" Laughed Harry. "This is Clayton we're talking about."

****

He was right, nothings changed. Their house was also semi-detached and had 4 floors - including the attic and the cellar - they have a kitchen/dining area in the room that you enter first. With a small stove and a couple of ovens.

Their living room was behind the kitchen, with a large bay window, looking out into the fields behind the house. They had converted the cellar into a spare room, with a red carpet and a double bed, with a desk in the corner and a tv on the wall.

On the second floor, there was the bathroom and 3 other bedrooms where my Aunty and Uncle sleep and 2 of my cousins. Then up in the attic there were two rooms one was another bedroom, - which was for their oldest son when he was home - and the other was a sort of storage room.

"It's just how I remember it." I smile, looking around.

"Yeah well, Deans working at the bakery till 7, and then Dillion and Evan are out at the park, with some friends from school." Lisa says fondly.

Deans the eldest at age 15, Dillon's the middle child aged 12 and Evan is 11, let's just say Aunty Lisa was not expecting 3 sons.

"That's alright, I'll just have to speak to them all later."

"Yeah well you have to tell me all about this boyfriend of your, Ive heard of."

"Fine."

By the time it was 7:30, all of the boys were home and we were sat at the table ready for food. Dean had managed to carry 3 garden chairs inside, whilst the rest of us extended the table.

"I'm so happy to be back, I can't wait to see everyone else." Says my dad.

"I agree." Smiled Sammy. "I'm gonna track some of my old friends down and surprise them."

"That sounds like a good plan, Jamie? Xavier? Are you going to find your friends too?" Asks Mum.

"Yeah." Replies my brother.

"I'm alright, I think I'd rather catch up with the family."

"Alright, love. If your sure."

"I'm sure."
