Vampire: The vampires in my book aren't all evil shits who only thirst for blood and kill people. The vampires who live in the "Northside" of Fenris Valley are all the upper class people. Who hunt and feed off of animals mainly. They can walk in the sun and they don't burn or glitter but the sun does cause their powers to weaken and they will suffer from headaches and pain.

They cannot have kids but they will adopt children and raise them as their own. They later change them. All the vampires who live on the Northside are a part of clan.

Werewolves: They live on the "Southside" of Fenris Valley. They are the middle and lower class society who most of the time causes some of the problems in town. Not all of the Southsiders are bad and many of them have respectable jobs. Young males will change into their wolf form on the first full moon after their 13th birthday, girls change after they turn 16 on their first full moon. The Southside are mainly werewolves but there are humans mixed in with them as werewolves can claim a human mate. The Southside wolves are part of a large pack.

Mates: They can't smell their mate when they first walk in room but they can smell their mate after they mark them. The males tend to notice their mate first, they normally show intense attraction when the meet eye contact for the first time with their mate. But they only truly know that the person they have interest in is their true mate when they touch.

Marking: When a romantic relationship has prolonged for quite sometime either male or female wolf can choose to mark their mate. This process is painful but it allows the couple to become one and allows them to be able to feel each others emotions and on occasion hear each others thoughts.
After the mate has been marked they can smell each other as well and sometimes will share their abilities on a small scale.

So that's pretty much all the basic terminology I have for this book. I should warn that this book does have curse words, underage drinking/smoking, and some very heated sexual scenes. I would rate this for 16+ but I don't care if your underage. You've been warned.
