Arthur POV:

"Someone get her on the couch!"

Was the what I heard as I walked into the pack house after hearing a ferocious roar. It honestly sounded like an Alpha roar but it was rare for our Alpha to ever roar.

As I walked towards the living room I saw that annoying but kind enough kid named Louis carrying this limp red head girl in his arms.

I had only been apart of this pack for six months so I didn't go over to investigate. I had already been reprimanded by Alpha due to my anger issues.

I walked in to the kitchen and I couldn't help but stare for a moment at Alex, our alpha to be, looking pale and scared in a corner of the kitchen.

A small smirk spread across my face at his frightened little look but he saw that douche instantly called me out on it.

"Get out of here you filthy omega!"

With a frown of anger I grabbed my glass of water and walked across the hardwood floors to the large living room.

"We should really bite his face off. I think it would be enjoyable." My wolf, Max always had to put some comment in.

"Knock it off Max. Control yourself." I said telepathically as I entered the semi crowded living room.

People seemed to flood out as I entered the room, I WAS outcast of this pack. That is until this little red headed beauty ambled through those front doors.

I had a feeling this new girl was gonna quickly become the outcast of the pack and was pretty much okay with that, I was getting tired of everyone hating my guts.

I came up and stood next to this dark skinned girl named Raven. Oh how I loved her name, I remember the days when we were together. That is until her dumb mate Ajax interrupted things.

"What is wrong with this little darling?"

I reached out and pulled up a chair next to the scarlet beauty and looked at her beautiful and delicate face. I felt a intense shiver roll down my back as I gazed upon her beauty but I got distracted when a loud, but feminine growl broke the warm summer silence.

"Her wolf, she is having such a bad time controlling her wolf inside her its causing fatigue and sickness."

Raven clearly had no interest in me being so close to this girl and she was clear in her venomous tones that she didn't want to talk to me either.

"I don't think her wolf could cause the sickness. But perhaps fatigue. If she is due to change the wolf could just be clawing at her wanting to be free. How old is she?"

"She turned sixteen about four months ago."

My jaw clenched as I suddenly became confused with her diagnosis, I was the pack doctor apprentice at my old pack so I knew quite a bit about werewolf illness.

"She hasn't turned?"

"Nope, she almost did but something snapped inside of her and she just gave up, she began trembling and bleeding internally."

I leaned back in my chair and took a slow sip of water. I starred at the girl in confusion for quite some time before Raven spoke again.

"I need to go collect her things and buy her some new clothes. Can you please stay here and try to explain things to her? Her name is Laylah."
