Alex's face claim^^

"Laylah! Wake up!"

I groaned and opened my eyes to find Raven shaking me rather violently. It was barely lit outside and I was rather confused.

"Why am I awake? It's practically dark outside!" I huffed throwing off the covers and pushing my ginger hair from my face. I adjusted my oxygen tube and yawned as I listened to Raven blab about something.

"We have school today, and since I live so far away from school we have to get ready extra early." Raven was laying out some outfit for me on the bed but all I could do was yawn and think about how awesome I felt. I felt a little weak and light headed but I was having a better time breathing.

I soon was dressed and all ready for this new adventure of going to school. I looked like Raven minus the leather jacket and the oxygen tube made me look a special kind of nerdy. I had ripped skinny jeans on with black combat boots on then I had on this white half sleeve shirt that was high in the front but was rather open in the back. I had pulled my long hair into a ponytail and I left my adorable choker necklace on.

We walked outside towards Raven's little white car, the sun was just starting to rise and as we approached her car I saw someone leaning up against it. Raven stopped dead in her tracks once she noticed the stranger but I took two steps forwards trying to get a better look at this person.

"Where do you think your going?" A male voice spoke, half his face was dark still but the sun lightly shone on his arm and I saw a very familiar full sleeve tattoo shine in the morning light.

"Matthew? What are you doing here so early?" I asked rather confused and shocked, I didn't know Matthew could say so much at once.

"Mom and Dad know where you are and sent me to get you."

Raven walked up to him with me and she suddenly became very angry in his presence. I swear I could feel the angry heat radiating off of her.

"I'm not going home quite yet, I am going to school with Raven. And if you could please...um... move I would appreciate it." I became a little nervous around my brother, he was large and probably way stronger than me, if I didn't comply he could just drag me home.

To my surprise he moved to the side, I looked at him with a little surprised but he didn't respond at all to my look he remained emotionless.

"Laylah, I'm not gonna drag you home. Mom and Dad can't force you to not experience basic life lessons. I don't wanna be the jackass that Mom and Dad are." He opened the passenger door for me and stepped back folding his arms.

I looked up at him completely dumbstruck, I had just learned so much from my brother in these quick few moments it was almost making my head hurt.

"Wow Matthew, thanks so much. Um I'll be home in time for dinner." I said as I slipped into the car, Raven had already got in and was waiting for me.

"No problem, enjoy school. And you look great today have a good day." He than slammed the car door shut and I sat in silence as Raven pulled out of the drive and headed to school. I looked back to him but he was gone, I didn't see him anywhere.

This day is starting off so strange already.

As we pulled into the school parking lot I felt a new wave of nerves crash over my body, I was excited to see what highschool was really like but I knew how weird I would look.
