MOVING ONWARDS.
---------------------------
"Yeah, I can hack stuff. Why, what for?" Dan asked curiously.
"I need to have the last call traced, as soon as possible." I told him.
"K, hand it over." He held out his hand.
"Catch!" I said imitating his previous words.
Then I threw it at him, not the wisest choice I've made, but I guess in a way it's wiser than
letting him into my home. But to my amazement his other hand flew up and grabbed the phone.
I threw my hand over my mouth to hide how open it had become with disbelief and with
astonishment. I really didn't want to draw his attention to myself, so I pretended I was yawning.
"You don't happen to be able to get me a screwdriver do ya?"
"Fine." I said getting up to go to the storage cupboard.
"Could ya also get me a coffee while your up?"
"You know where the kitchen is! Do it yourself!" I shouted from somewhere deep inside the storage
cupboard.
Honestly being in the dark, full to the brim depths of the cupboard made me feel like anytime soon
I would reach Narnia! Unfortunately I had a feeling that wouldn't happen. Shame...
I returned with a screwdriver for Dan and I felt like I had at least a hundred and two bruises over
my body, after bumping into things that I didn't even know we owned!
"Thanks." He said as I handed it to him.
I practically collapsed onto the sofa, if I had to stand up any longer my whole body would've
rebelled and collapse in a heap on the floor.
"Hey... Hey Sandy, wake up!" Dan was shaking me by the shoulders.
"What?" I yawned at him.
"The tele just turned on, and it's all grainy and muffled!"
"So?" I said as I woke.
"So! I didn't press any thing! It just happened!"
"Liar..." I got up and went over to the remote, which just happened to be on the arm of the sofa
where he was sitting earlier.
"Coincidence." He said firmly as I waved the remote in front of his face.
"I don't believe in such a thing." I pressed the power button. But instead of turning off the picture
focused and became clear.
"Hello?... Is there anyone there?" An old man with greying hair said.
As the old man started speaking Dan, quite literally, threw himself behind the sofa. Why? I
haven't the foggiest idea, but I left him cowering there.
"Hi..." I said to the man, I don't know why, but still what could possibly go wrong?
"Ah, hello... Sandy I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong,"
"You're right, how do you know who I am?"
"All in good time dear, all in good time. So back to what I was going to say... Your parents..."
"Yeah?"
