Leaving for Pompeii tomorrow? Really? I couldn't quite grasp it, tomorrow... Usually it takes at least a good few days for a girl to pack. Apparently, I couldn't go back and pack because it was too 'dangerous' yeah right. My house had all ready been broken into, ransacked, and both my mum and dad adult-napped. What else could go wrong? Well... Apart from me being murdered, having a heart attack, kidnapped, tortured or- or a lot of things... Maybe they're right, it is far too risky to go back...
The others gathered some things, Dan didn't. Samuel said that he wasn't allowed to leave the premisses without his supervision. And the way that he said "supervision" made me think, did he have "super vision"? I mean, it had to be asked right!? Once everyone apart from Dan and me had gathered everything they needed, we set off for Gatwick airport in a taxi. It wasn't too a longer trip to the airport, the flight though... That, well... That! Was! Hell!
It was just awful! The screaming babies with their over tired mothers complaining and trembling as though they had never been on a plane. The orange (super rude) air hostesses, seriously, they were well and truly orange with foundation and fake tan that could easily have been done by a two year old. Almost everyone I was traveling with managed to get some shut-eye but I couldn't, never have been able to and never will be able to sleep on a moving vehicle. So everyone I knew was sleeping like a baby, though I'm not sure that babies do sleep now, whilst I was left wide a wake and shattered. I heard the potter petter of rain on metal, it was raining... Great! I peered out of the window. The skies were churning the clouds were billowing and the rain was bucketing. And we were over the ocean. The water below was enraged and trying its best to reach us,we were too high. Thankfully. I heard a loud low rumble which managed to wake Liann who was in the seat next to me.
"Huh!" She sat up suddenly, alert.
"See for yourself," I leant away from the window so she could see.
"What the-" She was cut off by another loud rumble. This one woke Samantha and Dan.
Sam saw the storm out side and her reaction was much like Liann's but she got to finish her sentence. Dan, however, sniggered and reacted very differently from the rest of us. He said something along the lines of, "looks like we're all gonna die.", yes that sounded right.
