"Partner?" I looked at him seriously, Dan having a partner just confused me! Him?
"In crime..." He added.
"And... How come she's?... Like that?" I asked him.
"Is it all questions with you Sandy and no consideration?"
"I- um ... Hey... Er? Wha?...." I glanced around the room slightly embarrassed.
"Sam, call Timothy and get him to take her into custody." Samuel said gravely.
"How come you're putting her in jail but not... Me?" Dan asked baffled at this prospect.
"May I?" Liann asked Samuel for his approval.
He nodded.
"Right, you see... Dan, at the moment you're not posing any great threat. Whereas your
friend here... She tried to hurt Sandy!"
"Did you sing to her?" Dan asked me paying no attention to What Liann just said.
Everyone's eyes fell on me.
"Kinda..."
"Well that explains that!"
"Does it?" Everyone bar Penelope and Dan chorused.
