Making a confusing arrest

"Wait so how could me singing make her, with super powers and all, end up on the floor fast a sleep?"

"It's a condition..."

"Not one I've heard of."

"In fairness I haven't a clue..."

"Right," I said sarcastically.

"Okay! Maybe a smidge of knowledge on it."

"Well a tiny bits always a good start!" Sam shouted. Once she had called Timothy to get the creepy lady.

"We were robbing a bank..." Dan began.

"Could you make this tale shorter?" I said.

"It didn't work well, we failed." He continued ignoring my comment. "We were making our

escape when this random guy shot something in our direction but it missed me and hit her.

She got thrown off balance, then the guy started to sing an operatic song. Then she

collapsed."

"Huffff! I came as fast as I could!" I tall, thin, lank man stumbled through the door, hand

cuffs flying out of his hand.

Helpfully I picked them up and gave them back to the wreck of a man.

"I only brought one pair of hand cuffs! You should of told me you got them both-"

"You're only arresting the lady." Samuel said calmly.

"What?! Have you gone mad! Has he done something to you?!" He said waving his hands

about frantically.

"Do you want to go back to your old job?" Samuel looked at him, fear almost drowned

Timothy.

"What was his old job?" I whispered to Liann.

She shrugged in reply.

Timothy cuffed the lady, gathered her up in his arms then left the room.

"What were we doing here in the first place?" I said breaking our truly awkward silence.

"Errrrrmmmm....." Everyone thought aloud.

"Phone!" Sam said.

"Why did we need the phone?" Liann said.

"To track the last call, the call from that strange guy that has Sandy's parents." Dan said

nearly not having to think. He stood back up from crouching on the floor.

"Oh I've got it!" I said.

We left the house from the front door.

Once I was out I turned to look at my house...

"I am sooooo dead."

"Nah, I don't think so, not after every thing that's happened." Liann put her arm round my

shoulders. She's a good friend, a really great friend.
