Chapter Six

All night I thought about how Sweetpea said he loved me. I'm guessing it was an accident but he still said it.

"Wake up" I open my eyes to Sweetpea staring at me shaking me a little.

"What?" I turn on my side facing away.

"We have school, princess" he turns me back over.

"I don't think you should go to school today, not after yesterday. No teacher saw you yesterday so nobody should say anything about you fighting, unless someone ratted you out"

"You still need to go to school" he tries to compromise.

"No" I shut my eyes and turn around.

He pulls me back again and kisses me.

"Thank you for yesterday, princess" he smirks.

"You don't need to thank me" I pull him into another kiss.

"I want to though. You have so much control over me, so much power"

"Well at least someone can control you" I smirk playing with his hair.

He lies back down next to me.

"If we're not going to school, what do you want to do?" Sweetpea questions looking at me.

"I'm not sure. Not go to the north side, that's for sure"

I notice Archie is calling me. I decide to pick up, I don't know why.

"I'll be back in a second. I'm going to take this call"

"Okay"

I walk into the living room and pick up the phone.

"Archie"

"Sophia, I've tried to call you. I wanted to talk about yesterday"

"What about yesterday? How you started s fight with Sweetpea?"

"Yes"

"Speak then"

"I want to apologise to him. I shouldn't have hit him"

"Tell him that yourself. I'm not doing it. I was just protecting him since you acted like a dick"

"Fine. I'll apologise today"

"No. He's not going to school today"

"Why not?"

"I don't want you starting shit"

I hang up the phone and walk back into the bedroom where I see Sweetpea lying in the same spot.

"What was that about?"

"Just Archie. He wants to apologise to you" Sweetpea starts to laugh.

"Apologise? Fake reason. He's doing it so you'll start talking to him again" I look at Sweetpea confused. It does make sense I just don't want to believe it.
