Chapter Twenty Seven

Sweetpea's POV

I've called Sophia twenty times, so has Toni. We both tried to call Jughead but he won't won't either. I never knew she was this mad, I hope she isn't with Jughead.

Serpents 🐍

FP: white wrym, meeting NOW

My eyes widen at the message and make my way to the white wrym where I notice lots of serpents already including Toni and Fangs who are together. I go over to them.

"You guys know what's happening?" They shake their heads.

"Listen everyone!" FP shouts over the rambling. He stands on the state looking at everyone.

"Now, your all wondering why we're here. The goulies have Jughead and Sophia" everybody gasps.

"We need to save them I know but them want me for them and I'm willing to do it"

"We can't loose you" someone shouts.

"I know. We need a plan and we need it fast. We need to think of something before we get them back in pieces" I clench my fists.

Sophia's POV

My eyes flutter open as I feel dizzy and sore. I notice a knife being held on my right cheek.

"Shit!" I jerk to the other side noticing I'm tied up.

"Hello princess" Penny Peabody smirks.

"Where's Jug?!" I look around. I'm in some sort of warehouse with only penny.

"Shut up be a good little girl and you'll go back with more than a slash on your arm.

I look at my arm noticing she's right. I have a hug line on my arm spilling blood, I have blood all over me.

I don't cry. I won't cry. She won't know I'm weak and if I die I'm die without her thinking I'm her bitch.

"As I said, be a good girl. I'm going to see your boyfriend" she looks me up and down and leaves.

I feel I'm sitting on something and move so I can feel the shape. What is it?

Flashback

"I'm always protect my princess" Sweetpea smirks and kisses my hand.

"No need" I whip out a pocket knife and hold to him as a joke.

"At least I know you can protect yourself" he chuckles.

End of Flashback

The knife! I just need to grab it if I can reach it...

I try to get my arm as close to the knife as I can but my hand isn't close enough since the ropes.

I push myself, hurting my arm in the process, if it's even possible to hurt it anymore than it is.

I grab it and let out a breath of relief.

I flick the switch bringing the razor.

I start to saw through the ropes binding my arms.

I get through and my arms are free. I hear noise. Penny. I put the knife back in my pocket and put my arms back. I can't let her know I've gotten out.

"Well girl, you look terrible" she spits.

She kicks me. Hard. I try my hardest to keep my hands still and not punch her.

The bleeding intensified and I feel nauseous. I can't let myself pass out. I need to save me and Jughead. We need to get out alive.

I pretend to be passed out and notice she left.

I open one eye noticing nobody is in the room anymore and that they look my phone.

I take the knife and start to saw through the ropes on my legs. I get free and smile to myself proud.

I get up but fall to the ground. I need to push myself. I need to get up get out.

I pull myself up and run to a walk holding on to it keeping me up.

I notice a pipe. It's cold and feel empty and hollow.

I use all my strength and pull it off the wall.

I stay holding onto the wall and walk out the room into a hallway. I notice a door. How do I save Jug? They're be so many ghoulies.

I open the door without them noticing. I notice it's only penny in the room with Jug.

I limp over to her and hit her with the pipe and she falls unconscious. I fall to the ground too since my strength is gone.

"Sophia?" He tries to speak.

I take penny's phone from her pocket.

I dial Sweetpea's number as I star to feel dizzy again.

Sweetpea's POV

"Penny where the hell is Sophia?" I shout into the phone.

"S-Sweetpea" she whispers.

"Sophia! Where are you?" The serpents surround me.

"I don't know but I'm with Jughead. We're in a warehouse somewhere I'll send you the address"

She stays on the phone

"Sophia are you okay?!"

"I just wanna say, Incase I cant again, I love you"

"We're gonna Get you out of there! I love you too"

"They're gonna" she said quieter.

"Gonna What?"

"Kill us"

Silence.
