Chapter Thirty Two

- after all, candy rots. unleashing the monsters inside. -

through the conversation i basically zone out until i hear the door bell go making me jump.

Archie gets the door letting someone else in. a boy.

recap, i'm sitting in a room with my supposed brother, Toni, my best friend, who is actually so pretty and four other boys who i can't lie, are definitely hot. god. supposedly they have or had a thing for me. how? i'm just all plain over here and they're just, damn. well, shit.

a/n - i feel like i'm making Sophia into a slut oml save me.

everyone looks at me including the boy who had just entered.

"what?" i snap.

i hate that they're all staring at me. i feel like an alien. i'm like some unknown species they're trying to figure out what to do with.

"we have school tomorrow. maybe she'll notice someone there. someone she'll recognise"

"we still need to give Cheryl her car back" Toni looks around.

"who?" i butt in on the conversation.

"the girl who's car you stole" Jughead looks over to me.

"she stole a car?" the unknown face looks at us confused with the whole situation.

"yeah i don't even remember what she looked like. it was kinda dark. i just know i hugged her" i shrug ignoring the comment.

"we should sleep now anyway, you can all stay here?" Archie offers.

"where are we meant to sleep, Andrews?" the serpent rolls his eyes.

"i'll find a place. sophia you still have your bedroom so you could share with Toni"

"i think i'll go home" Reggie scratches the back off his neck.

"i've only been here a minute. anyone care to explain what's happening" everyone just looks up. they definitely don't like him.

"well i'm tired and bored and confused so" i just look around at all the faces staring at me. "why does everyone always look at me?" i give them an annoyed look and we all just rustle around going to rooms.

"soph you have pyjamas in here" Toni pulls clothes out of the wardrobe.

"oh, uh, fun" i stammer feeling awkward.

i do have a sense of comfort with Toni. i feel like she would always go out of her way to do something nice or make you feel at home. i can tell she's also sly, devious if she wanted to be. she sweet like candy but can turn into poison when you get on her bad side. after all, candy rots. unleashing the monsters inside.

i wake up noticing Toni was already up.  she's already done her hair and trying to find clothes to put on.

"hey" i look at her, she's still looking not even turned around.

"do you have any old clothes that, like, aren't pink?"

"uh-" as i'm about to answer she interrupts me.

"aha!" she pulls out a black top, in all its, plain glory. "oh uh i put clothes there for you" she points to a chair and i get up going over to the clothing she left out.

"thanks" we dressed and go downstairs.

we go to school and i'm in Toni's car with Sweetpea in the back and Jughead is in Archie's car.

we sit in awkward silence as Toni tries to make conversation, tries.

we get to school after what seemed like years and Toni runs over to someone before i could get a look at them.

"hey babe" she kisses the teen before moving away.

i see her. her. the redhead with her iconic, lips, not just because they're red (a/n 👅).

Cheryl. Cheryl Blossom. we just look at each other as i take her in. her scent, the sweet perfume i always hated.

wait! a memory.

i don't remember what happens next. i passed out.

oh if only the town of Riverdale knew the past Cheryl and Sophia had...

happy pride month! i know i'm posting at the end of the month but oh well. if anyone remember one of my first chapters when i talked about Sophia and her being unknown of her sexuality...
