Back to Silver's POV:

Penny clasped her hands together. "So how should we proceed with this top secret yet very important case?"

The professor thought hard. Gadget excused himself to go tell the chief something quick. I was blindfolded again. And my mind went into another debate mode.

Should I reveal myself now? Show them the evidence I found? They will ask me how and where I found it...Will I be able to manage and save my friends at the same time? How to tell them the situation without revealing too much about myself?

Gadget arrived feeling satisfied and continued. "We should start researching! That's where good agents start"

"Excellent idea Gadget" the professor activated his smart glasses and started analysing the frequencies that he had copied from Penny's codex. "We can head down to the lab for further analysis"

The professor frowned, "Though I wonder where we can go further with only just these readings" Brain nodded following us silently. "I wish we had more evidence about those mysterious beings as to where they are...hey! can we use those frequencies to pinpoint the location of the portal? That way we can find evidence there and clues to where those beings are now" Penny suggested. 

"That's my niece. I was just about to suggest that myself" Gadget praised as Brain sighed.

"Silver what are your views on this?" Penny asked as she removed my blindfold. That ended my mind debate and brought me back to where we are now. In the Xpress Lift going down to the lab. 

"I..." I noticed all eyes were on me now. "I need some more time to think about this. I will be in my designated room for a while if you guys don't mind" I said as Gadget nodded. "No prob. Take your time. Meanwhile, we will be at the lab. Join us later okay?" Professor said and I nodded and got off the lift at level 5. I recalled Penny saying my room was 512. "Where is room 512?..." I searched for any signboards. "Turn right and head straight before turning left. The room at the very end is 512" 

I jumped at the sudden voice answering me. I looked around for anyone, my heart beating so loudly I can almost hear it screaming. 

The blue glowing light brought my eyes to focus down at my wrist. Of course! My new Codex 

I followed the directions and found my room. 

Room 512: Agent Silver, newbie

I opened it and was shocked beyond my imagination. Because I was given a lovely room. With my very own table to work on, a bed, a mini sofa, a nice big window and snacks at the corner. The study room was amazing. And my new mission task folder was already on my table. 

I closed the door behind me and went towards the desk. My first case is a case about me. I thought. How lucky 

I placed the zip lock bag on the desk and read the case file. 

Since MAD is also a agency, could it have figured out the frequencies that Penny picked up too? That means there is a possibility that they have captured my friends as soon as I left them. I have to prove to the elite team with the evidence I found. Right now they are working on a way to use frequencies to find out the location of the portal. Just like Tails' chaos energy tracking device to track where the energy could be stored in which lead them to the cave where it all began. I thought aloud.

"Well said my friend" I looked at my wrist. 

"I didn't know a Codex can have normal conversations" I smiled, fascinated by it. But it did not reply. But I realised it took notes as I spoke, writing down whatever I had just said into words, for my future reference.
