Chapter 20

My mind was sated with thoughts. Thoughts of how I was going to save my friends, get the chaos emeralds and key to stop Eggman and MAD Agency. I had no idea of where they were imprisoned in the lair. The lair was so huge. I stood there as his evil laughter echoed in the lair. Talon eyed angrily at all of us, even at his own uncle and fished out his purple gum gun.

"TAKE THIS!"

He exclaimed as he fired gum towards our direction as Penny used her codex to destroy it. "Quick! Do something Silver!", Penny said as I looked down at my hands. Of course! My powers! I used my psychokinesis to lift Dr. Claw and Talon in the air and froze them in time from doing anything in air.

The other MAD agents started appearing one after the other as Penny used the gum gun Talon had dropped on the floor to glue them onto the wall. MadCat then came running as I included it into the psychokinetic bubble with Dr. Claw and Talon. "You have nowhere to meow-ve, little kitty", I said proudly as Penny sighed. She used her Codex to track you guys (sonic and friends) down as I quickly placed the chaos emerald shards into the bag and grabbed the key. "This way!", Penny pointed to a dark corridor. 

"Silver, what are those rocks and key?", She pointed curiously to the bag and key I was holding.

"Those are the 7 chaos emeralds, shattered" Penny gasped. "Who shattered it? Where did the key come from?" 

I sighed. "It is a really long story and now is not the time. I will tell you and the professor later"

We then reached the prison cells and found you guys.

"Silver? YOU'RE BACK!!"

"We missed you so much Mr. Silver, we were so scared"

"What happened Silver? Where is Eggman?", I was instantaneously bombarded with questions.

"Woah, Calm down you guys!", I used my powers to destroy the lock and free them all.

"Thanks a lot Silver, now please explain what is happening because we are ALL confused...", Sonic asked as I again... Repeated all the things that happened since the time I had left you guys back behind the shops. "Oh...", everyone said as they looked at Penny. 

Penny smiled sheepishly and waved. "Hello, pardon me for not introducing myself earlier. I am Penny! You guys look amazing! Hedgehogs, echidna, fox, bunny and a....", Penny said as Cream replied, "It's a Chao!".

Penny continued, "It's truly amazing how you guys are friends even though you all are from different animal species, I have never seen anything so extraordinary like this!", Penny exclaimed as we all walked from the cell back to exit the lair. Just then, Eggman broke into the lair with Inspector Gadget and Brain. His army of robots followed behind him.

"Oh..Claw! I have captured Inspector Gadget. Now as for the fixing of Chaos emeralds and---", Eggman gasped uncontrollably for a moment as he looked up at the lair. MAD Agents were stuck to the wall with gum, there was gum all over the place and Dr. Claw, Talon and MadCat were in bubble stuck in time. The place was a disaster.

"No...This can't be happening...NOOO!", Eggman exclaimed as he then looked down and saw us. "YOU!", he pointed angrily at me as I glared back at him. 

"Silver, I should have known you and your stupid psychokinesis caused all this..."

"HEY don't you DARE speak to him that way Egghead!", Sonic said angrily as everyone agreed. 

"ROBOTS ATTACK!!".

Chaos increased even more as everyone started to fight and destroy the whole place. 

"EVERYONE. STOP. NOW!!", I used my powers to blast all the robots as they shattered into nuts and bolts.

I turned around and shouted, "NOW PENNY!". Penny used her codex to handcuff Eggman and the whole mad agency. Gadget and Brain were released as Penny embraced them both.
