Jinse's POV

I could hear whispers across the hallway. They were talking about me, saying nasty things I didn't even want to think of. A tear escaped my eye as I was walking toward my class, but I quickly wiped it away. I didn't want to show them the weak side of me.

I deserved these. I deserved all of these, was what I thought. I had been mean to them all along, I wouldn't blame them for doing things. Suddenly, I tripped on someone's foot and landed face first on the ceramic floor. I could imagine how embarrassed I would have been if I was able to see it by myself.

I felt stares piercing through my skin. As I was trying to get up, everybody laughed out loud. The person who tripped me, however, didn't.

"Omo, I'm so sorry..you should have been more careful though," she said in a reassuring voice, while holding out her hand to help me up. At least that was what I thought.

I was about to grab it when she retreated her arm and slapped my hand away.

"Oh right, you can't see. What, are you expecting me to help you? Ha, bitch," she said again before walking away.

I squatted up and started searching for my stick. I wasn't able to hear anyone breathing, so I made a conclusion that no one was in the hallway. I sighed. While trying to get hold of the stick I've found, a hand got it first. I was expecting another act of bully. But no.

The person handed me the stick and helped me stand up. "Gwaenchanha?" he asked.

His voice was angelic indeed, and it sent shivers down my spine. I looked down, not that I could actually 'look'.

"N-ne.." I replied, "g-gomawo.."

"Okay then. By the way, the name's Kyung Soo, Do Kyung Soo. See you around!" he joyfully introduced himself and went somewhere. From his tone of speaking, I could guess that he didn't notice me being blind. He probably thought it was just an ordinary stick or something, since no one blind had ever come to school.

I was the only one..

I had attended this school for five and a half years, so I knew it well. I was four classes away from the spot I was standing at. As much as I didn't want it to happen, a glass of liquid was splattered on my face. "You blind slut!" a girl shouted, and soon I was egged by the crowd.

I could just stand there, taking in all the abusive comments and physical tortures. I had no one by my side, not even the Kyung Soo I'd been hoping to receive help from once more. I was alone, just like how I would always be. I'd never had any friends except Chanyeol, and I now regretted my decision of ignoring him last time. I shouldn't have done that.

The bell rang and everyone ran to each of their classes. I was stinky and sticky with all the egg yolks on my hair. I didn't clean myself up and just walked to class though. What's the use anyways, after school I'm still going to get beaten.

I sat down on my chair, and was unfortunately thrown paper balls and such. The teacher hadn't entered the class, that's why. If only she had been around, this would've instantly stopped. I felt like exploding. But I knew that it was just gonna get worse. Again, I found myself in the urge of crying. I can't...

The door surprisingly busted open, and panting was all I heard from that person. The throwing stopped and it became quiet. Was it the teacher? I heard steps coming closer and the chair beside me moved a little. It was sat by someone, whom I thought was the person who just came in.

Then I heard him gasp softly. He took out something which I guessed was a piece of tissue and wiped my wet hair.

"A-aniyo, I'm fine," I lied.
