Ji-Young's POV:

I gained three pounds. Today will be a bad day.

I'm fat.

I'm ugly.

No one wants me.

"So class, due to your great work over this first half of the winter term and your great scores on the recent assessment, the school have decided to offer a few classes a few days away on a class trip." Murmurs erupted around the room, some happy, some annoyed. "This will be a chance to rest and become closer with your classmates and you're elder students who will also be attending. We just need a parent or guardians signature. When you leave class, please collect a kit list and parental form."

"Ji-Young! Ji-Young! Princess!" Jungkook hissed from behind me. I continued to ignore his presence. I didn't want to get mad at him and snap. The anger was building up. Especially after seeing him obviously flirting with Ji-Eun and Sun-Bi. Why did I trust him? I was even beginning to develop feelings. Here is the thing about fancying someone, you can form a crush so quickly, and it is slow and painful to get close to them, but the crush fades as quick as it had formulated.

But mine wasn't fading.

It was almost growing.

But I knew, deep down, all he wanted was what he'd always wanted from girls. Their virginity. The sweet words, the dates and the loving eyes. It was all a facade for lust and dominance.

Our whole little deal had just been simply a game. At least I hadn't given him anything while I got exactly what I had needed. Him to pass English.

I told you, today's a bad day. But at least there is that small silver lining.

Once the bell rang, I waited for everyone else to leave, not even acknowledging Jungkook when he brought out his hand to escort me out of the classroom. I waited till he left the room completely. Then and only then did I pack up and make my way to lunch, picking up a form just for the sake of having it.

I can't go anyway.

I have no parent to sign it.

I wandered the hallway alone, unsure where to go. If I went to the cafeteria, I'd be found by the others, and they'd pull me towards their table. Otherwise there was no where to go. The library was filled with the smartest students, who seemed to dislike me since I declined their invitation to sit with them at lunch and study. The field was cold and even if the day was nice, I still wouldn't go out there because of the jocks and slim cheerleaders who made me hate myself. Plus Jungkook could be there. He is known for his insane rugby and football skills. Behind the school was the smokers and druggies. I wasn't too fond of being near them. I hated the smell of weed. And again, Jungkook may be there too.

Suddenly, I felt a hand tap my back. I turned.

"Hey, Ji-Young!" Ji-Eun smiled at me. It was a sickeningly sweet smile. Sun-Bi stood behind her, one hit jutted out and on her left. Behind them were three of their group and at the very back, a more timid girl stood, head down, trying to fit in. I think her name was Yeri. We sat together in maths. She barely speaks. We're unspoken friends though. We've thrown up together in the school bathrooms.

"Ji-Eun, hi? Um, what do you want?" I said politely.

"What I want? Oh, well it's really simple." She giggled, placing a hand on my shoulder. "I want you, to stay the hell away from Jungkook." Her smile was still plastered along her perfect face.
