"Chapter 19"

________________________

Ji-Young's POV:

Jin had managed to get some money out of his parents, who were incredibly rich anyway. He even persuaded them to sign the forms as they shared our last name too, my father being Jin's father's younger brother. The others were ecstatic, saying how much fun this week was going to be. It will be fun, I know that. But it will likely be awkward too. I still felt like an idiot about Friday night. He must regret that choice. Then again, it's not like it's his first kiss or anything, unlike some people's.

We were ready the night before, Jin buzzing with energy and myself just going along with him. I didn't want him to be worried about me. Jin had stuffed his bag full of clothes and sweets and various snacks whilst I had only packed clothes and cleaning supplies. But by the next morning, I noticed my suitcase was a little fatter and the sweet cabinet was completely empty.

Upon arriving at school, at 6am, we were split into two groups, Bus A and Bus B. I was on Bus B and sadly, was parted from my dearest Mina. Even our friendship group was cut completely down the middle. Mina, Jimin, Hoseok, Namjoon and Jin on Bus A and myself, Taehyung, Yoongi and Jungkook on Bus B. Along with Bam Bam, Yugyeom and the widely hated, Ji-Eun and Sun-Bi.

I was second to last to get on the bus, and the boy behind me quickly slipped into the only free space, a space within his friendship group. Taehyung and that had filled up the back, an area reserved for the jocks and popular boys. But it was full. The only place left was a row in front of the back area, right next to Ji-Eun and her friendship group. They were all laughing about Yeri, who they had played like a flute before kicking her out of the group. Yeri never showed up to the trip.

"Ji-Young pabo! Over here!" Taehyung called eagerly. I played with the edge of my sweater, slowly moving towards the back of the bus. I could hear everyone's disgusted comments. I sighed and moved faster.

"Why are you calling me a pabo, there isn't any space back here, and I know none of you will move next to Ji-Eun." I hissed back at him, leaning myself against Yugyeom's chair.

"Well, you can't sit next to Ji-Eun, that's a disaster waiting to happen. Ju-Just-" Youngjae chuckled.

"Sit on one of our laps, you're light enough." Taehyung suggested, holding out his arms.

"You have to be kidding me, I am NOT sitting on your lap." That just felt somewhat slutty. Not only that but I was already afraid of being in vehicles. To have to sit without a seat belt, that scared me even more. Taehyung though, kept persisting, constantly motioning me to just come sit on him. But a pair of arms pulling me down stopped me.

"She can sit with me, we're comfortable." Jungkook said, wrapping his arms around my waist as support. The boys looked at me with raised eyebrows but I just put my head down in embarrassment, not wanting to look them in the eyes.

The first hour or so of the journey were fine, the boys chatting about random things and myself pretending to listen. Jungkook had been good so far, just holding his arms around my waist to act like a seatbelt. I got lost in thought, wondering how Jungkook was acting so normal, despite Friday night. I had experienced sleepless nights because of it.
