"Chapter 22"

_______________________

Ji-Young's POV:

By 10pm, everyone was pretty wasted; myself, somewhere on the fine line between tipsy and drunk. We called off the games, despite how much fun we were having, because of the teachers coming to yell at us due to being too rowdy and apparently the dares were becoming out of hand. So reluctantly, we stopped.

Once sat in the tent, I suddenly had the intense urge to pee. At first, I attempted to hold it but not wanting to wake up in a pool of my own making, I braved the cold outside in my pyjamas (being an oversized hoodie and shorts) with a blanket wrapped around me. It was surprisingly humid outside for it to be early-mid October yet there was a steady wind that chilled the air around.

I ran quickly to the bathroom block, dropping my blanket and my pants once in the stall and sitting down to finally relieve myself. I was quick, afterwards pulling my pants up as well as my blanket and washing my hands. Looking in the mirror I was surprised at the reflection gazing back with interest and happiness sparkling within their eyes.

Their eyes were only slightly tinted with dark, natural and barely noticable. Their skin was soft and clear looking and their eyes looked happy and awake, as I said before, there was a sparkle to them. Her lips were soft and her hair looked smooth and well groomed. Her face was full, not sallow and bony. She was pretty. She was me. A smile appeared on my face and I quickly turned around, ready to knock on Jungkook's tent and tell him my progress and how I felt happy. Yet as soon as I turned the corner, something, or someone startled me.

A tall figure with dark hair stood in the entry way, playing with their fingers. They looked at me and the yellow lamp which stood outside the bathrooms casted light and shadows on his beautifully adorned face.

"Tae, you startled me!" I hit his chest playfully, expecting a smile back. But all I received was this strange look in his eyes. His pupils were enlarged, eyes glazed over with an emotion which I couldn't pinpoint. He looked down on me, tilting his head, looking me up and down.

"Tae? Are you okay?" I questioned but was quickly cut off as he pushed me against the wall. I heard the bones of my back crack, sounding clashing of rocks. His lips were on mine in an instant, harsh and rough against mine, much unlike how I'd been kissed before by Jungkook. Subconsciously, I tensed against him, denying anything he did to me, such as his tongue which was sweeping my bottom lip, practically begging for entrance. Anger overcame me and I pushed him away, tears beginning to haze my vision.

"TAE WHAT THE HELL!"

"Ji-Young, stop it, I know you want it." His hand hit the wall behind me and his face was so close I could smell the alcohol lingering within his warm breath.

"Taehyung, stop." I said firmly. But his hand clasped over my mouth as he shushed me, his other hand playing with the hem of my shirt.

"Ji-Young why are you such a tease. All these signs I've left for you over the years and you didn't pick up on a single one of them." He smirked, eyes locked with mine. "You know I treat you the way I do for a reason don't you?" His hand continued to fondle the hem of my shirt and I continued wriggling, but he was too strong.

What happened to Tae? This isn't the Tae I know? Not the Tae I love. Or loved.

A sense of realisation hit me as I saw a deep set hurt in Taehyung's eyes. He wasn't doing this out of love and aggression, yet out of sadness and want. If he had said this a month ago or before, I would've bounded into his arms. But now, things have changed. My feelings have moved on.

His hand stayed firm on my mouth and his other held my hands firm in place as his breath began to tickle my neck. Pulling away didn't help as his grip just tightened. Not knowing what to do, I braced myself to knee him right in the money maker. I didn't want to hurt him but I had to. But just as I brought my leg up, I heard an angry hiss and Taehyung was on the floor in a single blow of whoever's punch.

For a second I glanced down, scared and somewhat ashamed to look up. But once I did, I calmed, seeing Jungkook there. But he looked scary, his face red with anger, jaw locked, eyes dangerous and dilated. He turned to me and his gaze softened the tiniest amount. Below, I could hear cuss words from Taehyung and groans of pain. I walked over, lending a hand to help him up but Jungkook stopped me.

"Stop it Ji-Young." He told me, voice stern. I backed away obediently. "Go back to your tent." He told me once I just about backed away so I was back on the grass outside the bathrooms.

"Sleep in Minho or Bam Bam's tent tonight. Or maybe Ji-Eun's. I'm sure she'll fulfil whatever perverted needs you need taking care of." Jungkook turned away swiftly and saw me stood there.

"I told you to go back to your tent." His eyebrows raised and his voice was softer than it was before.

"Well news to you, you're not the boss of me."

"For now I am. And I have 4 more wishes left. So don't make me waste them." He smirked, wrapping one arm around my shoulders as we braved the cold back towards the tent.
