Chapter 38: Rosé's side

Rosé's POV

"Yah! Unnie!" Lisa called me but my eyes are stuck to someone. My heart is beating so fast even if I can only see his back. I know it's him.... It's been a long time since we've met..... Everything has changed but my feelings haven't. My heart beat faster when he turned around and our eyes met. I quickly looked away. This awkward feeling......the past seems like haunting me.

I saw him...... I saw Ginno...

Keila's POV

Nasa canteen kami kasama ang blacktan dahil breaktime namin ngayon. May napapansin ako na aura kina Rosé at Ginno..... ang weird nila. Nag tititigan sila. May gusto kaya sila sa isa't isa? Sana.... para hindi na umasa sa akin si Ginno.

Pagkatapos naming kumain, pumunta na kami ni Ace sa classroom namin kasama ang blacktan.

Rosé's POV

"Guys, my mom gave me 14 tickets to Jeju Island! Let's go on Saturday!" I said.
"Perfect! But there's one excess." I looked at Ginno who is listening to us the whole time. "Ginno is my childhood friend." I looked at him. And ex-boyfried. His eyes were wide and he was shocked. "Um...yeah..." Keila and Ace seemed confused. "Can he go with us?" I asked. "Yeah...sure!" Ace said with an awkward voice.

2 years ago....

"You should separate! If you love my son, you need to do what's best for him! Leave him alone!" I cried pitifully while begging her mom to stop the nonsense.

"Jebal.....I love your son...." I said lifelessly. "Leave us alone! Break up with him!" That was her last statement before she walked out leaving me crying.

I was forced to break up with him but my feelings haven't change.....

Ginno POV (2 years ago)

Nagtatago ako sa likod ng puno habang nakikinig sa kanilang usapan. Ang sakit sa puso, parang winawatak-watak siya. Please..... Rosé...... ipaglaban mo ang relasyon natin..... pagka alis ng nanay ko, tahimik akong umiiyak...

The next day....

*beep*
Natawag siya sa cellphone ko. Alam ko na ang mangyayari...... "hello..." sinagot ko siya habang pinipigilan ko ang luha ko.

"Go to my house. We need to talk." Sabi niya gamit ang seryosong boses niya.
Ako naman, ba-baliw baliw, pumunta pa ako para saktan ang sarili.

Pipindutin ko pa sana yung doorbell pero nakita ko siya sa may bench ng garden nila.
Seryoso siya habang nainom ng alak. Pinahid ko muna yung luha ko bago pumunta doon sa kanya.

"Rosé..." sabi ko.
"We need to break up." Straight forward niyang sabi kaya tumulo agad ang luha ko...

Rosé's POV

"So it's all settled. On Saturday morning!" I said with a joyful voice.
