Mission 22: Falling

Your POV

I felt a hand on my shoulder violently shaking me. Someone calling my name over and over again.

"Ugh, Garroth go away. I don't want to go to school."

I attempted to push the hand away and failed miserably. Garroth kept shaking me.

"GARROTH!!"

I practically flew out of bed. I pinned him to the ground and my vision started to focus.

Wait a minute... this isn't Garroth.

"Laurance!"

"My god are you crazy!!" He yells.

I get of off him and help him up.

"What's going on?! Why are you in my house!?? How are you in my house?!"

He just looked at me impatiently waiting for my barrage of questions to stop.

"Yesterday you told me to come to your house at 12:00 sharp, I did. I knocked on your door and a pink-haired meif'wa opened it. She told me you were sleeping so I attempted to wake you up for a good ten minutes."

I laughed awkwardly. "Sorry about that..."

He sighed and smiled. "Don't worry about it. So you going to tell me why I'm here?"

"Oh! Yes. You're coming on a mission with me!"

"What Mission?" He titled his head.

"You know the stamp company 'Bailey stamps'?"

"Yeah what about."

"Well they've been getting their money illegally and we're going to stop them."

A wicked smile came to his lips. "Sorry angel can't help you here."

"What why not?!?" The tone of his voice pissed me off.

"Because we're the reason they've been getting money illegally." His smirk getting wider as my eyes open wide.

I urge him to continue.

"They hired us on several occasions to kill out there competition and steal there money. The job was so easy. Some old rich businessman was are target every time we didn't even need the elite crew sometimes."

"But, what did you guys get out of it?"

"Fifty percent of everything we stole."

I clenched my teeth. "That explains why Clyde wanted an elite to deal with this simple stamp case."

His smirk was instantly smacked off his face when he noticed that I had mirrored it.

"What's that smirk about?" He questioned nervously.

I took a couple steps forward each time him taking a step back. He hit the wall and I grabbed the caller oh his leather jacket pulling him down to my eye level.

"Laurance remember that little deal we made yesterday."

He gulped. "Winner gets to make the loser do whatever they want."

My smile grew. "Exactly. You're going to help me with this mission whether you want to or not." The venom in my voice was enough to make his eyes widen.

"Yes, mama!"

I let him go and instantly got rid of the threat in my voice and gave a cute giggle.

"Alright wait for me downstairs I'll be ready in ten."

He stopped before he walked out the door and didn't bother to look back over his shoulder.

"I forgot to ask." He started.

"Come on we don't have all day." I rolled my eyes.

"How's Vylad?"

His question took me by surprise. Shadow Knights don't normally care for other Shadow Knights.

"He's doing as well as a man in a cell can do." I got the corner of his mouth to lift up and he walked out.

Laurance, I really doubt your as much as of a Shadow knight as you put out to be.

Laurance's POV

Time skip 2 hours later~

"Alright everyone if you could kindly exit the building in a single file line if you value your life's that is! This stamp facility has officially been shut down!"

Me and (Y/n) we're standing on the balcony over the factory where all the workers were. With my help finding the head office was easy and turning the heads of the departments in to the police was a piece of cake.

The last thing that had to be down was getting all the workers outside where the police were waiting. We have to see who were victims and we're being tricked into helping and who was really going to jail.

The workers hurried outside. One after the other being handcuffed and shoved into vans and police cars.

"Mission complete." (Y/n) looked up at me and smiled.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help and smile back. My smile instantly faded as I remembered what I had to do.

"(Y/n) I'm sorry about this... again."

Her eyes widened and before she could fight back I hit a pressure point on her neck knocking her out.

I stared down at her sadly.

This had to be done to keep her safe. Everything that was going to go down with the Divine and the SK's she was better off being in a cage.

Your POV

Time skip back at SK headquarters~

I woke up to blinding lights being shown on me. I squinted trying to a just my vision.

Once I was able to see I found myself in a white room.

My arms were chained to the wall and there was a piece of metal around my neck. The room was big and octagon shaped. In each corner a guard. There was glass facing straight ahead of me a room to keep an eye on me probably, looked like it was bulletproof.

I kept calm and tried to remember what happened.

"Laurance!! I'm going to kill you!" I screamed remembering everything.

Suddenly a door shape in the wall opened and someone walked in.

"Looks like someone's awake." The voice was enough for me to figure out who it was.

"Aaron so we meet again."

His grin came into view with the rest of him.

"I see you guys don't make the same mistake twice." I used my head to gesture to the massive extra cage I was in.

He smiled. "You like the room I made just for you. Completely (Y/n) proof?"

I smiled wickedly trying not to burst into a mad screaming fit. I was very pissed of with how this day was going.

"Listen carefully, Aaron." The smile on his face vanished hearing the threat in my voice.

"I don't make the same mistake twice either." I clenched my teeth.

"And what mistake was that?" He leaned down so his face was almost touching mine. I took the opportunity to give him the most hateful glare I had ever created.

"Last time I was here I didn't end the Shadow Knights for good." I smiled wickedly. "That won't happen again."
