Laurance's POV

Me and (Y/n) walked into the kitchen to use the intercom. It was installed not to long after I moved in. We were having a hard time getting everyone to be on time for dinner and other gatherings.

(Y/n) pushed the button and yelled into the device on the wall. "All of you get your asses down here right now!! And bring your elite gun!"

Not too long after everyone arrived at the kitchen with confused looks plastered on their face.

"Clyde has put me in charge in solving who shot Vylad. I want everyone in the basement. Will be holding small little interrogations for every elite member."

Everyone seemed to take a deep breath. They all nodded.

"Why is he here?" Katelyn glared at me.

"My assistant." (Y/n) answered nonchalantly walking past Katelyn to the basement.

I followed the rest as everyone walked down to the basement. They already knew arguing would do them no good. This was a direct order from Clyde.

For now, the power as leader was back with him. There was to much stress on (Y/n). As soon as the war was back in full force she would be back in charge.

Everyone got comfy on the couches outside the makeshift interrogation room. When I walked into the room (Y/n) had already pulled Garroth onto the chair.

"Let's get this started." She declared.

She sat down in one of the chairs. I stayed back so I could watch his movement. 90% of talking is body language after all.

He gulped. "How do you know that it wasn't him?"

"I ask the questions Garroth."

"While you won't be getting answers then."

They glared at each other. (Y/n) sighed. "He spent the night with me."

"Ah. I see." Garroth looked at me and smirked.

I couldn't help but do the same.

"Ask away."

"First of let's see the gun." She motioned for him to place it on the table.

He pulled up his shirt and took the gun out of his belt. It was scratched up with a couple dents.

"Definitely has a wear on it," I noted.

"Alright, Garroth what were you doing the night off?"

"Easy. I was in my room on my phone. Simply lying in bed. I had just come back from a mission so I was tired. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep with my phone in hand."

"Can I see your phone?" She asked.

He nodded slipping it out of his back pocket and handing it to her unlocked.

"What were you doing on your phone?"

"Social media mainly."

She opened Instagram. He had liked a couple pictures from what seemed to be people from school. The time was 12:46.

"Just a couple minutes before the shooting." She rubbed the bridge of her nose.

She looked at me and I nodded. "Alright thank you Garroth. No more questions."

He nodded. Stood up and left. We made sure to watch him go upstairs so he didn't tell the others what questions were asked.

"I don't think it's him. Between the gun in the condition it was and the time on Instagram. Plus he's too stupid to shot Vylad."
