Laurance's POV

"Scared, Lycan?" (Y/n) sneered as her flames danced up and down her arms.

Aaron let out a low chuckle as his eyes glowed red. It was a confident chuckle for someone who was about to die.

"My dear (Y/n), you have yet to learn everything about our history." Red flames trailed along his arms, flames that matched the purple ones on (Y/n).

"I'm not afraid." She took a steady stance and spread her arms out. "Come at me."

Aaron laughed. "You think it's that easy to defeat me?" He took a step forward. "You know nothing. Poor (Y/n)... so clueless," he said. "So... useless." I had to stop myself from running at him.

"You see," he continued, in a slow teasing voice as him and (Y/n) paced around each other in a circle, "The Liao's and the Lycan's were not normally family's, the reason they were so close, the reason they decided to team up all those years ago is that they shared the same magic."

(Y/n) seemed to pounder this putting pieces of her family puzzle together. Not letting herself get distracted and think about the subject too long she quickly came back with a retort.

"Aaron, you may know more of my family history but there's something about me you don't know." She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.

The crowd around the two compiling of the Divines elite crew and the SK's elite's, all seemed to hold their breaths with (Y/n).

She released the shaky breath and her stunning purple eyes shot open with a raging fire. "It's thanks to my family I was able to survive these eyes, and you're about to find out just what they can do."

Without wasting a second more (Y/n) moved towards Aaron at an inhuman speed grasping his neck forcing him to look at her. The flames dancing on her arms and around her body seeming to give her intensified speed and strength.

They locked eyes and her purple eyes emitted a bright flash. "Be still," she whispered.

With those words, it was as if the whole world seemed to still. She released her hold on Aarons's neck but he seemed to be frozen into place. She pulled her left arm back and all the flames seemed to move towards her fist. She threw a punch at Aarons jaw smashing him into the ground with an intensity to shatter the concrete and create a small creator.

Everyone gawked at (Y/n) standing over the mighty SK leader struggling to stand. He let out a cry of rage and stood fast catching (Y/n) off guard.

The flames gathered around his leg and he kicked her in the stomach knocking her into a metal shipping container, she barely managed to throw her arms up in time to block.

She pushed herself from the hole her impact had made in the metal and charged at Aaron throwing a punch his way he grabbed her hand and used it to throw her to the ground.

She didn't stay down for long putting her weight on her arms swinging her leg around to collide with his legs bringing him to the ground.

He seemed to be doing everything in his power to avoid eye contact with her, he had figured out, like the rest of us, that him looking her in the eyes was what caused him to be in-able to move the first time.

She wasted no time and got on top of him pinning him to the ground. She grabbed his neck again forcing him to look at her, for a moment their eyes meet.

The same flash appeared as she whispered, "Be still."

He again appeared un-able to move and she threw punch after punch to his face. At this rate, he wasn't gonna last much longer. The 'spell' (Y/n) had put on him seemed to be wearing off he knew he had to use this burst to win, this last move had to be it for him. With what little strength he had left he threw (Y/n) off of him but instead of lunging at him... he was lunging at me.
