Travis's POV

I stared into Aaron's beat red eyes with disgust. He was the one who hurt (Y/n). He was the one who thought he could just play with the Divine.

Me and Aphmau we're on both sides of Clyde who was sitting on one end of the long wood table. Aaron sitting on the other side. He had Salem and Gene standing on his sides.

We couldn't have Garroth, Katelyn or Nicole in the room because they were all too hot-headed. We needed Dante to be on the lookout just in case they were planning to have more guys come through the front door. And Zoey was better off behind the scenes.

They were all watching behind the glass of the room. They could see us but not the other way around. Even though we couldn't see them you could still feel there hate burning down the walls.

"Oh, Clyde must there always be such hateful glares between us?" Aaron smiled devilishly.

Clyde kept his cold blue-eyed glare on. "It's always been like this. You know that. And the people that need to fix it don't seem to want to."

He kept his voice level the whole time he talked.

"Have you told all your children here why we hate each other so much? Why we fight?" Aaron leaned forward in his chair raising his eyebrow.

Clyde didn't respond.

"Oh, I see. You haven't." Aaron chuckled deeply.

"So you're telling me they just follow you like blind dogs! Not really knowing what they're fighting!"

"The fight has never gotten so severe that they needed to know." Clyde started to explain. He wasn't explaining for Aaron though he was explaining for us.

"The only fights we've ever had were caused by the Shadow Knights so far. So they only needed to know that they were protecting all the Divine. If I ever needed to tell them the story I would."

"You would huh Clyde? See I think otherwise. If you were going to tell them you would have already." He smiled more. He was forcing Clyde into a corner. To tell us.

"Aaron the reason I haven't told them is that if they knew the truth... they would have busted through your front door and slaughtered all of you already."

That slapped the grin write off off Aaron's face.

"I guess it's time to tell them."

Me and Aphmau gave each other a glance. I knew all the other elite crew were waiting desperately to find out the story.

"A long time ago the Shadow Knights and The Divine... were one organization. Two families got together to help make the world better. One family the Liao's and the other the Lycan's. There were thirteen elite soldiers who were the founders. They called themselves The Cali Thirteen.

They fought of lots of bad people others couldn't. They were powerful, worked perfectly together, unstoppable. The final thing to seal the deal between the families was a marriage. The daughter of the head of the Liao's, Fria and the Son of the head of the Lycan's, Theo. They fell deeply in love. Together they were unstoppable. One day Theo saw Fria kissing her childhood friend, Noah. She desperately tried to explain that he had tricked her and that she loved him. He turned the five members of the Cali thirteen that were of Lycan blood against the Liao's.

In rage, Theo ordered them to kill every last Liao. Theos father objected saying alliances shouldn't crumble so easily. Enraged Theo killed his father and took over the position of ruling. Not too long after the war began between the Liao's and Lycan's. Once they started getting outside help form different family's they changed their names to the Shadow Knights and The Divine."
