Ella's POV

I woke up the next morning refreshed and happy. I smiled as I remembered Edmund's and my time last night. I started to get out of bed and saw my wand still on my desktop. It sat there completely still, but I was afraid that it might come alive and turn me into something evil.

Carefully picking it up, I studied it. What was I going to do with this?

Deciding not to worry about it I got up, went to my dresser and picked out a beautiful bright red dress with sleeves that went to the elbows and had gold designs on it. I then walked back over to the desktop, picked up my silver-handled brush and started to brush my brown hair.

I couldn't help but glace at my wand that was still lying on the left side of the desktop. For some reason, I felt like it was calling to me. I sighed, placing my brush down next to the powerful stick. I then picked up my 'helper' and stared at my reflection in the mirror.

As I looked at something began to happen.

My bright red dress then turned bright blue with a long, flowing, bear-skin coat that fell to the floor behind me. My dark hair turned a snowy white and my face was very pale. Even my wand changed. The brown stick was now a crystal blue and it shone in the light.

I looked like...

The White Witch...

I screamed in terror as I jumped up away from the desktop, dropping my wand in the process. I looked back in the mirror and I looked normal with my red dress and dark hair.

"What just happened?" I wondered silently.

Before I could wonder anymore, Edmund and his sister Lucy came running into the room. Edmund came to my side.

"Ella. What's wrong? We heard you scream, what happened?" Edmund asked.

Lucy was bending down to the floor. She picked up my wand and asked: "What is this?"

My wand had turn back into its normal dull brown color and its designs were carved into it again. There wasn't any sign of it ever being a crystal blue color.

"That's m-my wand" I replied slowly, not sure how there were going to take it.

Edmund and Lucy gave each other a confused glance. I then told them that I had a dream the night before. And Aslan was in it. I left out the part of my having to give up my heart's desire. I didn't want to tell anyone, even Edmund about that. Then I told them about what happened to me when I looked in that mirror before they came running in.

Edmund pulled me into a tight hug "I'm sorry Ella." It was all he could say, but I could tell that he was a little worried about my "transformation" in the mirror.

"Ella?" Lucy started "If Aslan gave you this wand to help you fight against Jadin and his army. Then you need to learn how to use it."

I turned to Lucy "But Lucy. I don't even know magic."

"Aslan said that you would find a way to learn magic. I suggest the library"

Edmund nodded "Yes. But first, let's have breakfast. Shall we?" We held out his arm for me to hold onto and I took it, happily.Lucy placed my wand back on the desktop and we walked out of the room.

At breakfast, Edmund, Lucy and I told Peter and Susan about what happened to me.

"I have no clue how it happened," I said "It just...did."

"Don't worry about it Ella," Peter said, "You won't EVER look like that or become that. There's nothing to worry about, for I know you're strong and you'll be able to fight it."
