Normani's POV

After eight extremely long days of waiting, my Lauren is finally back in LA. When I picked her up at the airport, she ran to me and practically smothered me with kisses. During the drive to Naturi's apartment, she filled me in on her spring break and the breakthrough with her mom. I'm hesitant to tell her about what happened during my spring break. It's not easy to just come out and say "Hey, Lauren. I'm pregnant with Carlos' baby and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now." Thank goodness the traffic on the Sunset Strip allows me some time to come up with a way to tell Lauren about the baby…or, rather, the fetus that is currently growing inside me.

Twenty minutes later, we arrive in front of Naturi's apartment complex on Sunset and Doheny. I stop the car and try to gather the courage to tell Lauren about the baby. Lauren wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me in for a kiss.

"Mani, do we have to go inside? Can't we just make out in here?"

I really wish we could just make out in the car. I wish our lives were that simple again. Our biggest worries were once about finding a place to have sex without getting caught and scheduling make-out time between classes. Our lives could be like that again. I could just terminate this pregnancy and forget about everything.

"Mani?"

"LaurenI'mpregnant," I tell her in one breath.

"You're what?"

"I'm pregnant."

"How?"

"Lauren, you know how." I try not to be upset with her. She just needs some time to process this.

"He didn't use a condom?"

"No, Lauren, he didn't, and now I have his baby growing inside of me."

Lauren places a delicate kiss on my lips. "It's not his baby, Normani. It's ours."

"You mean you—"

Lauren interrupts. "Honey, we've been talking about getting married and having children someday. We'll just be starting our little family sooner is all."

"Okay."

"Yeah?" Lauren asks excitedly.

"Yeah. Let's do this then. Let's start our little family."

I see a tear roll down Lauren's cheek.

"Lobear, you okay?"

"I'm just so happy, Normani. It's like everything is finally coming together for us."

Lauren and I start to kiss each other. Our lips are locked in a kiss that is delicate at first and then increases in intensity. We know that Naturi and Zendaya are waiting for us inside, but neither of us is ready to pull back. It's been five weeks since I've made love to this girl and I'm not going to let anything stop me from being intimate with her right now.

"If you need me to stop, tell me. I want you to be completely sure about this," Lauren tells me. I nod. Can this girl be any more perfect?

I let out a soft moan as Lauren enters me with one finger.

"You okay, baby?"

"I had forgotten how good this feels. I miss having you inside me."

"I'm going to take it slow, okay?"

As my body starts to adjust, Lauren inserts a second finger.

"This is me inside you, Normani. What do you feel?"

"I feel you, Lauren, only you."

Within minutes, Lauren has me at my breaking point.

"Cum for me," she whispers in my ear.
