Normani's POV

"Seriously, Normani, that's just plain kinky. Whatever sick sex you have planned with Lauren, please don't tell me about it. And I thought I was wild," my sister tells me as she looks at Lauren's ensemble.

"She has to wear this," I tell Naturi.

"You look fab, darling," Zendaya reassures Lauren. "It seems like just yesterday I was doing that task myself."

Lauren isn't allowed to speak, so she just gives Zendaya a hug.

"Zendaya, seriously, what's the point of this?" I ask her.

"We have a saying, don't we Lauren?" Zendaya asks and Lauren just nods. "From the outside looking in, you can't understand it. From the inside looking out, you can't explain it."

"What?" I ask.

"Lauren has embarked on a journey," Zendaya answers and Lauren nods again.

"Zendaya, stop bullshitting my sister," Naturi says before giving her girlfriend a kiss on the cheek.

I glance at Lauren sitting next to me on the couch. She's dressed in tiny green pajama shorts that have Buttercup from the Powerpuff Girls on them, black t-shirt and her hair is in high pigtails with green ribbons. The pigtails are a bit much, but the pajamas are cute. What bothers me is the fact that she is required to have a pacifier in her mouth all day and carry a teddy bear with her wherever she goes.

"I'm not supposed to tell you the meaning of this, but what the hell," Zendaya says. "The pledges are required to dress like babies today because tomorrow is when they become women. They have to earn their womanhood though."

"How do they do that?" I ask.

"At the mixer. That's all I can say," Zendaya responds.

"Are they going to have to go down on the guys like Choies' sorority?" I ask.

"I can't tell you, Normani."

"Are they going to have to do anything sexual?" I ask her worriedly.

"Normani!"

"Please, Zendaya, just tell me that."

"Fine! Yes. But Lauren's prepared and she's good at what she does."

"Okay, I really didn't want to hear that," I tell her.

I pull the pacifier out of Lauren's mouth and start to kiss her.

"I know this isn't your choice, so I'm not going to hold it against you. I'll still love you, Lobear."

"I love you, too, my little ray of sunshine," she tells me.

"Normani! You can't do that! And Lauren, you can't talk!" Zendaya tells us.

"Pledge Jauregui, on your knees! Now!" Lauren quickly obeys.

"Open your mouth!" Zendaya tells her. When Lauren does this, she inserts the pacifier back in Lauren's mouth.

"Is this pledging, or some weird sex thing? I've seen so much porn like this," Naturi jokes.

"Naturi, this is sacred!" Zendaya tells her with a stern tone of voice.

"Zendaya, you've become a real bitch this week," my sister tells her.

"Maybe it's because you haven't been putting out as much as I'd like you to," Zendaya tells her. "I would think dating a porn star would have some benefits, but I honestly haven't experienced them."

My sister quickly storms off to her room and slams the door behind her.

"Fuck!" Zendaya says almost to herself. "Naturi! Baby, I'm sorry."
