Sweet Pea strutted into the Whyte Wyrm feeling good. It was a surprisingly drama free day. He got a decent enough grade on his test, thanks to his girlfriend Y/n, and came to celebrate.

He bee lined it to the bar where Toni was and she handed him a beer. "Where have you been?" she asked looking a little irritated.

"Woah. What crawled up your ass?" he didn't know what the hell was up with her tone but he was not having it. It was a good day for him and he wasn't going to let it get ruined by one person's sour mood. "Besides Topaz, you're not my keeper."

Toni stared at him for a long second before laughing out loud and saying, "You are so fucking screwed and you don't even know it." Then she went back to wiping down the bar still chuckling to herself.

Sweet Pea gave her a confused look. "Why? What'd I do this time?" He had a pretty bad track record for remembering all the dumb things he says or does. Still, he could not think of a reason for Toni's attitude.

Toni stopped what she was doing and sighed, "More like what you didn't do." He shrugged still not understanding what she was referring to. "Dude! You left Y/n on read. She's pissed."

He quickly pulled out his phone, "I did not leave her on..." he stopped mid sentence rereading the text he had in fact read and must have forgotten to respond.

To: Sweet Pea

Heard from Fangs you passed your test. Congrats babe! Meet me at the Wyrm after school?

Sweet Pea groaned as he dragged his hands over his face. "Fuck my life!"

"Why, what'd you do now?" Fangs asked as he joined them and sat on a stool at the bar next to Sweet Pea.

Toni hands him a beer and he takes a long gulp. "He left Y/n on read" she said.

Fangs almost choked, he was so shocked. He quickly recovered and wiped his mouth with his sleeve. "Bro, no!" He felt bad for his best friend. Y/n was cool but she could be unpredictable. Either she was very forgiving or she gave you the silent treatment. And that girl knows how to hold a grudge.

Sweet Pea sank deeper into his seat not knowing what to expect from Y/n. He hesitated before asking, "Do you know where she?" He looked at Toni expectantly.

It was a funny sight for both Toni and Fangs. Nobody but Y/n could get him this nervous and boy was he scared. "Yes. She's actually she's been here for the past 3 hours droning on about how worried she was about you, for no reason I might add, when she saw you on Fangs' Snapchat."

"What? She's here?" Speak of the devil and he, in this case she, will appear. Toni nods behind him and he sees Y/n come out of the bathroom. Her eyes red and cheeks flushed, as if she had been crying. Damn it, Sweet Pea thought. Now he just felt guilty even though the whole thing was a total accident, he meant to text back but just forgot.

Y/n paused for a second at the sight of her boyfriend. She took a deep breath, smiled and made her way over to the bar. She walked right past Pea and sat on the other side of Fangs. Silent treatment it was.
