Forbidden Serpents (Fangs Headcanon)

-You never dated

-Especially since your mom made it her life's mission to find you a boyfriend

-She was always trying to set you up with her friends sons

-So, when you finally told her that you got a boyfriend she was beyond excited and happy for you

-That is until she found out he was a serpent

-She did not like that

-AT ALL

-She said that all serpents were trash that never amount to anything

-You tried to reason with her that things with Fangs were different

-"Fangs? What the hell kind of name is that?" she storms off angrily

-"MOM!!"

-That was the end of that conversation

-"So how'd it go with your mom?" asked Fangs

-He knew you were nervous about telling your mom since she would probably obsess over your new boyfriend

-Only you never expected for her to get so upset

-You frowned, "very bad"

-He laughed and pulled you into a side hug, "Come on, I'm sure it wasn't that bad. Does she want to meet me?"

-He seemed genuinely excited, you felt bad

-So you lied

-"Yeah, but her work schedule has been all over the place lately so it might not be for a while"

-A couple days later you two were hanging out at your place since your mom was at work

-You were in your room and on your bed just talking and laughing

-Until something he said made you snort

-"Wait, what was that?" he chuckled

-Your face becomes flush with embarrassment

-and you groan covering your eyes

-He removes your hands from your face but you still have your eyes closed

-"Do it again"

-You slowly open your eyes and see him smiling at you

-"Why? So you could laugh at me?"

-"No, it was cute"

-He pecks you on the lips once before trailing kisses along your jaw and down your neck

-His hands find your hips and they slip underneath your shirt

-You bring his lips back to yours

-You both laugh and kiss some more that you don't notice the front door had opened

-Your mom was home early

-There's a interrupting cough sound and it makes you and Fangs spring apart

-The look on your mom's face...

-She was LIVID

-"Mom we weren't doing anything!"

-Fangs stands up and extends his hand to your mom

-"Hi Mrs. Y/l/n I'm..."

-Your mom ignores his outstretched hand, her eyes never leaving yours

-She says, "I know who you are but I think it's time for you to go"

-He looks confused but gathers his stuff and heads toward the door

-You give him an apologetic smile letting him know you'll call him later

-After he's gone you turn to your mom

-"What the hell mom, that was rude"

-"You are not to see that boy again. I don't need his criminal ways rubbing off on you."

-"But..."

-"Not another word"

-You were left dazed and confused in your bedroom

-How were you going to tell Fangs...

-It was hard but you told him you two had to take a break

-at least until your mom cooled down

-He didn't want to but agreed anyway

-The next couple of weeks you were miserable and your mom had begun to worry

-Nothing she could do lifted your spirits

-Except maybe one thing

-The next day Fangs showed up to your house with a dozen roses

-You were surprised and nervous since your mom was home

-"You bought me flowers?"

-"Actually they're for your mom"

-"What?"

-"She came to talk to me yesterday"

-You were confused, "Why?"

-"She wanted to make sure my intentions were good and that I have a plan for my future"

-"And do you? Have a plan I mean?" you tease

-"Yes, and it definitely includes you"

-He leans down and kisses you softly

-Your mom comes to the door and takes her flowers

-"You're gonna have to do better than that Fogarty if you want to earn my respect"

-"Yes ma'am"

-You are still confused at the sudden turn in events

-Fangs just winks at you, "Don't worry your pretty little head. Just enjoy my company and let's get started on some of these plans I had previously mentioned"

-Your mom may not have been the serpents' biggest fan but for your happiness she was willing to make an exception
