"Melanie!" My mother screeched angrily. I shouldn't even call her my mother, she doesn't act like one should at all.
I climbed out of the window and ran towards the beach, unfortunately I left my spell book at home. So I climbed back into my window and grabbed it, my mother continued shouting me but I didn't care. I also grabbed my iPhone X (my mother didn't buy me one, I used a money spell) and headphones. I put on my beautiful white dress and locked my door so Ella couldn't come in. I'm gonna call her by her name now cuz she's not my mum and that's just that. I grabbed a green candle and casted another money spell so I could go shopping and get some jewelry for a mermaid spell I want to try out. I straightened my hair slowly but I burnt myself when Ella banged on the door, I ignored her banging and continued but I mentally winced in pain. After that, I placed my white flower in my hair to match my dress and went outside. It was a bright, sunny day and I decided I'd get the jewelry first, I saw Ella driving next to me. There were people here so she acted nicely "Melanie darling, you should ask me before you go outside" she said in a sweet voice.
I put my middle finger up and giggled "No I shouldn't...Ella" Ella gasped in shock and pulled at my arm then scratched and pinched me. Luckily, I escaped her grasp and ran off, I then realised that if I wanted to run away I'd have to come back at night, before I do the mermaid spell. Ella would always have men over at night and then I decided that was the time I'd strike.
