I walked into my house and Mom was sitting on the couch.

"Hey mom." I tried to walk past her but she stopped me.

"I'm sorry, Mena and I was watching a movie and I feel asleep."

"You're spending so much time over there." She crosses her arms as she looked at me.

"Look mom I'm sorry I didn't call but Ximena has no one , she literally have to sit in a church by herself all the time."

I angrily push pass her and walk up to the room I share.

"Mariana where's poppy?" I said noticing her bed is empty.

"Jesus went to show her around."

I take off my hoodie and put my hair into a bun.

"Callie what the fuck happened to your neck."

I look into the mirror and see the blue-purple mark on my neck that Ximena caused.

"Is the a hickey." Mariana asked touching my neck.

"If I tell you please don't tell anyone."

I rushed and closed my door.

"Okay so I went to talk to Ximena-"
Before I can finish she jumped up from her bed.

"Woah you and Ximena." She teased.

"Uh yeah , well not officially but yeah."

I sat back down on my bed.

"How do you think Poppy and Aaron will feel about this?"

"I don't know, that's why you're not going to say anything."

The room door open and it's poppy and Jesus.

"Say anything about what." Poppy asked putting her purse on her bed.

I quickly look at Mariana for help but she only shrugged her shoulders.

"About the surprise I have for you and your sister today."

It wasn't a lie , I do have a surprise for them.

"Callie what happened to your neck." Jesus asked.

"I tried to flat iron her hair and it burned her neck." Mariana said pushing him out of our room.
