I cheer as my girlfriend walks on stage to accept her diploma.
"To UCSD five year law program."
I cringe in confusion but continue to clap anyway.

"I love you." Callie said breaking the kiss. I stare at her surprised and happy. Without saying anything I get off of her and walk into my clothing closet , picking up a yellow envelope.
Once I walk back into my room I see Callie sitting on the bed looking nervous.
"What's this." She asked
"Open it."
Callie POV
I open the envelope to see Ximena DACA status has been updated and she can stay.
I look up and smile before jumping on top of her.
"Callie."
I pull back from the hug so I can look at Ximena's face.
"I love you too."
