First Day Of School

*Finished unpacking*

I was sitting on my new bed. Someone knocked on my door. I told them to enter and my dad came in. He shut the door behind him and came sat at the bottom of my bed. He looked upset a bit but mixed with a look I have never seen.

Charlie:" I see you have settled in well."

Katie:" Well yeah. This is our new house. We can't change that."

Charlie:" I know. I miss the old place too. But this is for both of our safety. You do know that right?"

Katie:" Yes I do dad. I'll take time to adjust but it will be alright. Who are these other people coming to stay tomorrow?"

Charlie:" They are highly qualified agents. They will help protect this house and us. Don't worry, they won't bother you too much hopefully."

Katie:" Mom and Lewis would of loved this place. It's so amazing."

Charlie:" Yes they would of. But they can see how wonderful your room is. And how much safer we are. As long as you do and I."

Katie:" I know dad. They are always in our heart."

My dad nodded he was about to ask something but remembered something else. He always has this look.

Charlie:" You will be going to school tomorrow as well. Roger has arranged it all. Also he will be staying with you at school all day."

Katie:" What even in my lessons?"

Charlie:" Yes. It is part of their protection plan. But he said he won't embarrass you."

Katie:" Okay dad. I'm gonna get some sleep then. Goodnight dad."

Charlie:" Ok dear. Goodnight."

My dad left shutting the door behind him. I got into my pjays and into bed. I was looking through my phone for a bit before going to sleep.

*Next day- Thursday*

I woke next morning when my alarm went off. I rolled out of bed and staggered into the bathroom. I got undressed and had a shower. I washed my hair and my body and got out. I wrapped a towel round me and went to go get changed.

I got changed into black jean shorts and a white vest top. I grabbed my red and black hoodie and put that on as well. I pulled on some bright trainer socks and put my hair up in a wet bun. I grabbed my phone and headed down stairs. I walked into the the kitchen to find five people I had never seen before. My dad and Roger were at the back where I headed to. 

Charlie:" Morning darling. Good sleep?"

Katie:" Yeah. Who are these people? I thought you said only three new people."

Roger:" Yes. This is Sean Dolan. He is the most experienced. These are his two sons. Ethan and Grayson Dolan. They go to your school."

They both nodded and I nodded back. I shook Sean Dolan's hand and stepped back.

Roger:" This is Peter Jewels and David Moore."

I shock their hands. I grabbed an apple and went back upstairs. I ate it and then brushed my teeth. After I did that I went back downstairs and was ready to go. 

*At school*

I was following Roger to the heads office. When we got there we went straight in. We both sat down. The head was old and looked very fragile. 

Roger:" Good morning Bates. Katie McCarthy is joining this school today."

P.Bates:" Oh yes. Hello Miss McCarthy. Glad to have you here. I am aware Roger. This is her timetable. All of the teachers are aware. So we have arranged for you to sit or stand if you like Roger out of everyone of her classes. The teachers did not like the fact that an army agent was going to sit in their classes."

Roger:" Very well. But if anything happen I will go into their class. My job is to make sure Katie is safe."

P.Bates:" Of course. Well the bell goes in five minutes. Enjoy your day Miss McCarthy."

Katie:" Yeah thanks."

*First class- maths*

Miss Collins:" Well class, I have set up an activity for you. It does mean that you would of needed to do your homework."

The teacher looked straight at Ethan and Grayson. They were in my maths class too.

Miss Collins:" So please can you get into three's."

The class got up and got into three's. I stayed seated. I hated this new school I didn't have my friends with me. These two girls came over to me and sat with me.

Girl 1:" Hey. Can we work with you?"

Katie:" Yeah sure. "

Girl 1:" I'm Alice. This is Julia."

Katie:" I am Katie."

Julia:" Nice to meet you."

I nodded at Julia.

Miss Collins:" Right now we are going to be sorting sweets into portions. Questions are on the board. I will hand the sweets out. Lets go."

Alice:" So where did you come from Katie?"

Katie:" England."

Julia:" Wow. I have been there on holiday once. It wasn't that good. But London was."

Katie:" Yeah I lived in London. I liked going on the London eye."

Alice:" I have never been England. So why did you move?"

Katie:" Problems really. Better of here."

Alice:" Well good choice. Do you know the Dolan twins? Ethan and Grayson? Over there."

Katie:" I only saw them this morning. All I know is there names."

Alice:" We have been crushing on them for ages. Ever since they got famous on YouTube. Imagine how much money they have. It could buy some nice pair of shoes."

Julia:" Oh yes. Or make up."

Katie:" I thought it wasn't about how much money the person has."

Alice:" Honey we have a lot to teach you."
