Getting Back On Track

*3 weeks later- Katie's bedroom- with Freya*

I was sitting on my bed watching Freya trying to draw a toy car. She was concentrating so hard and to be honest for a nine year old she was pretty good. She had done other drawings of her toys and gave them to me which I put up on my walls. I hadn't talked to Grayson since. Ethan and I have became great friends though and once a week he comes over so we can study and catch up his grades. 

Lewis and his girlfriend was going strong. She was really nice. Her name is Meghan but we all called her Meg for short. Also I started up my own sport club and all the comps we do or they do, half of the money goes off to charities of the clubs choice and the rest goes on the club to help it grow and branch out. Roger had found himself a girlfriend too. She stayed some nights and we had a laugh. Her name is Ellen. 

I carried on watching Freya drawing. I loved having a little sister that I could love and protect. I still kept in contact with Emily and Norman. They are coming to visit next week as summer starts and I am so vexed just for a great summer. I got brought back into reality by my phone pinging at me multiple times. I sat up and grabbed my phone. I went onto Instagram. I had three new messages. None of them were from Grayson. It hurt me a bit, but what could I do. I opened the first message which was from Emily.

Emily:" Hey girl! Can't wait till next week. Mom letting me get some new summer outfits. Norman is hyped as well. So good to see you again. Love ya. x"

Katie:" Hey Em! Neither can I. Roger is excited for some reason as well haha. But it is great. But not as it used to be. x"

Emily:" Hey what do you mean? Isn't good to have your brother back?"

Katie:" I'm not talking about Lewis. I mean Grayson. I don't know what got into him. I didn't know that he wasn't actually dead. I don't know why it hurts. x"

Emily:" He left a mark on you. Best way is to either make him miss you or just start talking to another guy. x"

Katie:" True. Thanks girl you always know what to do. Talk soon. Love ya. x"

Emily:" Okay babes talk soon. Love ya. x "

I clicked off of Emily's messages and clicked onto the second message sent. It was from someone called Callum.

Callum:" Hey! I was looking at your pics. You are really cute btw. Maybe we can get to know each other?"

Katie:" Hello. Thanks I guess but that's teenage boys for ya. Yeah it would be good to make some new friends."

Callum:" Yeah it would. I have got friends but none of them just like to chill."

Katie:" Haha. Peak for you. I'll talk later. Gtg."

Callum looked at it and I came off and went on to the third message. It was from Alice. The gold digger in my year. 

Alice:" Hey Katie! Just wondering if you want to come to my party next Sataday. It will be huge. Start of summer parties always are. Only doing personal invites to some. So count yourself honored. You can bring a plus 1. Maybe you can get Grayson and Ethan to tag along. Hope you can make it. Best kisses, Alice xoxo."

Katie:" Hiya Alice. Sure I would love to come and yes I will bring the twins along. See you at school."

Alice:" Sweet. Thanks bestie. xoxo."

The rest of the weekend went by and the collage of Freya's pictures got bigger on my wall. On Monday morning, I did not want to get out of bed. I had no choice when Lewis pulled me off my bed. I got showered and ready. I headed down stairs with my phone. I went into the kitchen to make some breakfast. Freya was there already eating Lucky charms. I made myself a bowel of lucky charms and sat next to Freya. Meghan was washing some cups and plates up whilst Ellen dried up. 

Lewis was sitting opposite me and Freya.

Lewis:" You do know I am taking both of you to school."

Katie:" I can take myself."

Lewis:" With what car?"

Katie:" Fine. But don't talk to anyone. Not even Ethan or Grayson."

Lewis:" Why? I only want a few words with Grayson."

Meghan:" Babe you heard your sister. Just drop her off and go."

Lewis:" See how lovely Meg is to you."

Katie:" Thanks Meg."

*At school- tutor all day*

I was sitting with Ethan, Ella, Jaxson, Harry, Mia and Rose. Grayson had fucked off and sat with Alice and Julia. I really don't understand why he is so pissed off with me. 

Katie:" Oh yeah did you guys here about Alice's party?"

Harry:" Yeah. We are all going. You?"

Katie:" I don't know Harry. Some people don't want me there."

They all knew I meant Grayson.

Ethan:" Look if you don't wanna go because of my brother. At least go because I am going to be taking you?"

Katie:" I don't Eth. Why is he acting like this anyway?"

Ethan:" I'm not gonna lie. He has beaten himself up over all this. When he walked out that night when we got home he was asking is he should go back. But he still thinks that you knew about your brother being dead and not telling us."

Katie:" Do you think he will talk with me later?"

Ella:" It's all worth a shot. Anyway, you are going to be hanging out with us over summer right?"

Katie:" Of course. But my best mates from England will be coming over for the summer. So you will get to meet them too."

Rose:" Oh goody I love new people. "

Katie:" Haha we know."

Jaxson:" So Katie. You going to that party with Ethan and us or what?"

Katie:" Fine I'll go. But if I wanna leave let me. Also Em and Norm will be there."

Mia:" Who babes?"

Katie:" Emily and Norman. My England best friends. Hahaha."
