I met Norman at a pizza plaza. It was upsetting that Emily wasn't there but oh well you can't have what you can't get. I think. We had ordered a huge chicken pizza between us. We sat there nibbling on it.

Katie:" So how has you and Katie been?"

Norman:" Good thanks. Well I am good. Emily not so much."

Katie:" Why didn't she want to meet up?"

Norman:" A few things really. She was proper upset."

Katie:" Come on Norman. Tell me."

Norman:" First thing is that you and Grayson are together after the way he treated you."

Katie:" Why?"

Norman:" Er Katie. Don't you remember he is the one that accused you of lying about your now alive brother. The one who ignored you. The one who ignored your whole existents."

Katie:" Yes I know how he treated me. But everyone deserves second chances."

Norman:" Here comes the Katie that I know and love. But you have to be cruel to be kind."

Katie:" What would you do for love?"

Norman didn't answer he was just staring to the left of me. I slapped him ever so gently on the face and he looked back at me.

Katie:" Norman what is it?"

Norman:" It's your dad. He is over on that table. We need to leave."

Katie:" Why?"

Norman:" Shall I call Roger?"

Katie:" No that's more obvious."

We both looked at him. He had his hood up and I saw something shiny looking that he was holding. I looked closer and saw it was a knife. I started to shake. I looked around nervously for anyone that he would want to hurt instead of me. Two people caught my eye. It was Sean and Ethan. They were about to come in.

My dad was getting ready. He was going to kill one of them. I just knew it. The bell went and I jumped out of my chair and ran to Sean and Ethan. I pushed them outside and turned to face my dad. He gave me a smirk. Everyone else was screaming.

My dad shoved the knife in me, pushed me to the floor and ran out. He forgot to take the knife out. I had lost sense of my breathe. I didn't know what was going to happen.

Norman's p.o.v

I ran over to Katie. I pulled the knife out. She had blacked out. I checked her pulse, she was barely breathing. Sean and Ethan came in and helped me. Someone called the ambulance and police. The police came first.

*At the hospital*

Lewis' p.o.v

I arrived at the hospital with Freya and Roger. We joined Sean and Ethan in the waiting room. We were shortly joined by Grayson, Lisa, Emily and her mom.

A woman came and joined us that I didn't recognise. Roger gave her a hug. It wasn't his girlfriend as they split up a few hours ago. It wasn't Meghan cos Meghan had midnight blue hair.

I looked over at Grayson. He was proper upset. He had tears leaking out of his eyes. I got up and walked over to him.

Lewis:" Come for a walk mate."

He nodded and got up. He followed me through the hospital and outside. We started to walk round the block.

Lewis:" You really do love her?"

Grayson:" Is it stupid?"

Lewis:" Not at all mate. It's amazing how you can be in love so young."

Grayson:" It's just Katie is the reason why I get up in the morning. Since I met her, I've actually wanted to wake up and enjoy life. But when we weren't talking. I didn't see any point in that."

Lewis:" Whoa mate that sounds tough. What was making you give up on everything?"

Grayson:" My dad got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Ever since then it's been hard. But he says he is going to retire after Charlie's locked up. But I want him to rest. Let everything work so he can get through it."

Lewis:" Grayson man. You are one strong lad. And I know I didn't like you before hand but my sister was right about you."

Grayson:" Thanks. I just won't be able to handle if Katie dies too. I just can't."

Lewis:" Don't worry. Katie is a fighter."

Grayson:" I'm sorry for treating your sister the way I did. It was uncalled for."

Lewis:" It's cool. You make her happy and I like you. You are now my pal. No matter what."

Grayson:" Yeah and she makes me happy. Cheers mate. I do appreciate that."

Lewis:" Let's go inside and see how she is doing."

Back in the waiting room me and Grayson had come back from our walk. The doctor was there. We didn't catch the speech but from Roger and the woman's face it wasn't good.

Lewis:" Roger what did the doctor say?"

Roger:" She is in a koma. They are trying their best. But it don't seem good. He says if we want to go see him then two at a time."

Grayson broke down next to me and collapsed to the floor. I helped him back up.

Lewis:" Myself and Grayson are going to see her."

Grayson:" It should be family first."

Lewis:" No its us first. Come on mate."

Me and Grayson walked round the 3rd floor and came to room 307. I pushed the door open and we walked inside. There she was. Tubes coming out of her onto the machines. It was horrible.

Grayson sat in a chair on her left and held her hand. I stood to her right and moved her hair out of her face. Tears stared to flow down my cheeks.

After a few minutes the door opened ever so secretively and silently. We saw this black hooded figure slid in and freeze when he saw us. I recognised him with that smirk he always wore. It was my dad. Before he could leave I grabbed him by the throat and pushed him against the wall. He was struggling to breathe.

Lewis:" Are you proud of what you have done?"

Charlie:" I came here to finish her off. But j came at the wrong time."

I opened the door and threw him out. I went out after him and grabbed him by the collar and started punching his face. People were moving away.

He got a few punches on me but I was determined to finish him. His face was all bloody but he still wore that smirk which gave me fuel to my anger and hatred. I battered him but before I could someone had grabbed my scruff and lifted me off the ground. They put me down behind him and grabbed Charlie off the ground by his scruff.

It was Roger. The woman came round as well and attended to me. She was really gentle in her words and actions.
