No More Secrets

I slowly stood up. I dropped the knife and stood in front of my dad, who was still tied up.

Katie:" How? You are suppose to be -"

Figure:" I know. It is quite a shock. It's good to see you again."

Katie:" No it can't be. I must be dreaming. Please say this isn't a dream?"

Figure:" It isn't a dream. It's real, I'm real, It's me."

I ran to the figure and he dropped his gun and accepted the hug. I was so happy, I could cry. But for some reason I still thought I was dreaming. We broke apart by my dad squealing trying to talk. 

Katie:" I missed you Lewis. I thought you were dead."

Lewis:" Well the world is full of surprises. Wait till tomorrow."

Lewis walks over to our dad and yanks the gag out of his mouth.

Lewis:" Aha. Didn't expect this now did ya?"

Charlie:" I thought you were dead? Why didn't you come visit sooner?"

Lewis:" Don't give that bullshit. You thought that the car explosion would kill me. Wow Charlie, you really are stupid."

Katie:" So it was him? He killed you and mom? Well tried with you?"

Lewis:" Exactly sis. He tried to kill me. Like he was going to with you. Like he did with mom. And maybe with that poor little girl up stairs. Oh yes I know Freya. I have been snooping around. Hiding in the little place above your room sis."

Katie:" Oh that cupboard with the ladder?"

Lewis:" Yeah that place. As soon as the car explosion happened and I escaped barely alive, I came to L.A. To start a fresh life. Make something of it. The body they found was my friend. Joshua. You remember him Charlie. The one I spent my summer weekends with."

Charlie:" Katie, don't believe him. He is lying. Trust me i never killed anyone."

Katie:" Shut up. But surely they realized it as not your body Lewis."

Lewis:" The body was too burnt to tell anything. So they classed me dead. But do you know the reason why?"

Katie:" Roger said cos you caught him cheating with another women. "

Lewis:" Yes. How is Roger these days. Is he doing well?"

Katie:" Yeah. He is."

Charlie:" How can you believe someone that is dead over your alive dad?"

Katie:" How could you try and kill him in the first place. How could you kill mom? We all have questions but we don't always get what we want."

My dad started screaming so Lewis shoved the gag in his mouth and it shut him up. Lewis turned around to me and came to stand next to me. We both stood there looking at our person that we have to call our dad. 

Lewis:" What do you wanna do with him Katie?"

Katie:" Best if we hand him over to the police and FBI to handle it. As much as I want to see him being burnt alive. It's way past our hands. I can speak to Roger to see if they can give him life in jail?"

Lewis smiled and put his arm around my shoulder and gave me a squeeze.

Lewis:" You always know the right way to do things. I missed that most."

Katie:" I just hope that I wake up tomorrow and this was all real. If it is then wow, you really are back."

Lewis:" Haha go on. Go get Roger."

Katie:" Don't need to. I will text him."

I texted Roger and told him to come immediately. With in five minutes Roger had swung the door open and gave Lewis a huge hug. Roger looked at our dad and shook his head.

Roger:" Haha. Finally been caught. Now what are we doing with him?"

Lewis:" We was wondering if you can take him in and try and get him a life sentence in jail. Get them to re open the case and give Josh a proper goodbye. That is the least he deserves. I will pay for the funeral using the company that I should rightfully own."

Roger:" No problem. But I have to untie his body from the chair."

*Downstairs- kitchen counter*

After Charlie was taken away by some guards. Me and Lewis went downstairs into the kitchen where Roger, Grayson, Ethan, Freya and Mr Dolan was. We were all sitting at the counter and it was an awkward silence.

Katie:" So guys. This is Lewis McCarthy, my older brother."

Grayson:" I thought you said he was dead?"

Katie:" Yeah he was. But he is alive."

Grayson:" So you lied to us. To me."

Katie:" Gray I didn't know he didn't actually die. I got told he was dead cos of a car explosion."

Grayson:" No. Save your breath Katie."

Grayson got up and left. He slammed the front door shut. Sean decided that him and Ethan should follow. They left and it left me, Lewis, Freya and Roger.

Lewis:" What happens now?"

Roger:" You stay with me. Lewis you can run your rightfully yours company. I carry on being an FBI agent. Katie, whatever she wants to do and little but big girl Freya here needs some toys to play with. "

Lewis:" That sounds like the family I want. But I do have some confessions."

Roger:" Oh and what are they?"

Lewis:" Well when I came here. I had no where to go. So this girl let me stay at her place and we got close. She is now my girlfriend. So would she be able to come and stay whenever she wants?"

Roger:" Yeah there is no problem in that. What are the other ones?"

Lewis:" I sort of promised her that I can help her with her bakery. So would you be able to help with bigger buyers and maybe getting her a proper shop or a few around America that she could control and pursue her hobby into a career."

Roger:" Yes but I want something from all of us. No More secrets?"

All:" NO MORE SECRETS!"
