*i have a feeling that this will be a good chapter. And I can't remember the name of her mom or if I even gave her one so imma come up with one on the spot, but you guys can correct me if you remember. And this is a very long chapter.
"What if I hurl all over his shoes?" I asked feeling the nausea in my stomach become worse.
"Then you'll have a hilarious story to tell one day." My mom fixed my hair. I had finally decided that I was gonna put it half up and hand down with a few curls springing out by my ears and around my face. I also had jewelry making my body shimmer.
"When's my curfew?" I asked hoping that she'd remember that we were going to the movies afterwards.
"12 o'clock at the latest." She answered, she then put eyelash glue on a diamond stud and started to glue the other side of my face. My mom wanted to put these jewels she found in my face. I let her but only because I thought it would make Peggy shit bricks.
I felt her place some on my cheeks bones, and right above my Cupid's bow. I twiddled with my nails that I had gotten done yesterday, they matched my dress. My shoes did not however, I wore these black heels but only because they distracted me from a dumb comment Richie told me when I was looking at them. It went something like this:
"What do you mean 'straighten your hair'?" He'd asked when I told him my idea for the dance.
"I mean I'm gonna straighten my hair and maybe trim it if I feel like it."
"Don't do that, your hair is like your crown, I like it." He pouted.
"Thank you, baby, but everything changes." Have I ever told you that I hate change?
"No, everything stays, when we get older everything might look different but it'll all still be the same." He tried to argue as I dragged him around the shoe store.
"That's the same with my hair, it might look different but it'll still be the same."
He fell quiet for a little before speaking again, "not if you fell out of love with me." He mumbled.
I furrowed my brows, "What are you on about, sweets?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around his neck, he placed his hands lazily in my waist.
"Awhile back you said that you liked me the way this version of you likes me, if you straighten your hair you won't be this you. Someone else will like the You with straight hair and you'll like them more than me." I let my mouth open as I silently 'aww'ed.
